I know people are typically very quick to complain when something does not go their way but often very slow to compliment and give recognition for a job well done. So I am posting this review because of the EXCEPTIONAL service that my wife and I have received from two of service advisors - Diana Harris & Rachel Hare. On a recent trip our car (2005 Chevy Equinox) overheated and began leaking coolant along I-95. We called Chevy Roadside Assistance and had our car towed to your dealership. Since we were traveling in two cars my wife took my 2 yr old son & 60 yr old mother-in-law to your dealership in my car so they weren't sitting aong I-95 in the 90 degree heat, while I waited for the tow truck. Upon her arrival she was immediately taken care of and set up with a loaner car for us to use to continue on our trip. While they could have given us the Malibu loaner that was already washed and available, realizing that we were traveling to the beach and had both cars packed, your staff went above and beyond and washed a HHR which had just been returned so that we would have a car that had enough room for all of our belongings. Yes this is a minor detail but it made a HUGE difference! As I've dealt with Diana over the past few days, she has been fantastic to work with -- extremely pleasant, thoughtful and sympathetic to our situation. I'm not exactly sure what the job description is for a service advisor, but I'm know she has gone above and beyond it for us. My dad is a retired electrician from GM and I know he would be extremely proud of the way that Diana and Rachel represent the GM/Chevy brand. More

We recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from this dealer. We were looking for a vehicle for our daughter and had found this vehicle on-line, emailed an inquiry and within the hour had spoken with Bil dealer. From the moment we arrived at the dealership we were treated like VIPs. Our appointment with Mr. Riggs was extremly prompt. He was a pleasure to work with and we felt like we could take as much time as we needed to properly evaluate the car. All that was stated online about the vehicle was found to be accurate and the stated internet price was honored. We did decide to purchase the vehicle and paperwork process went extremely smoothly and without any hitches. We were there during their busy holiday weekend tent event and everyone we encountered at the dealer that day was extremly polite, helpful and truly made our car purchase a fun one! Both Maurice and coslyn were possibly the best sales persons I have ever worked with. I came in not expecting to walk out with one new vehicle of my choice, however I was able to walk out with two brand persons I have ever worked with. Alphonso answered all of our questions and only demonstrated those features in the 2012 Impala that were different from our 2002. That's a real time saver. How do I start to describe the best dealership in the world? Frankly, it’s hard to put into words, but I’ll give it a shot. I am 44 years old and have owned 16 cars in the last 16 years. I purchased abo world? Frankly, it’s hard to put into words, but I’ll give it a shot. I am 44 years old and have owned 16 cars in the last 16 years. I purchased about half of them new and half of them used. (What can I say? I like cars). One thing that is common to every car I have ever owned is that at one point or another, I have had every one of them serviced by at least one dealer. Many times I have had the same car serviced by multiple dealers. By my calculations, this equates to approximately 25 different dealer service departments I have conducted business with as a customer. Consequently, I consider myself somewhat of an expert at evaluating dealership service departments from a customer perspective. One thing that is NOT common among dealer service departments is a common level of customer service, technical competence, quality of workmanship and professionalism. As you can imagine, I have experienced the entire spectrum of service levels over the years. I can say unequivocally that among every single service department I have ever dealt with, the true professionals at Lindsay Chevrolet stand out head and shoulders above the rest. They are fast, efficient, friendly and possess a level of technical competence that GM should take note of for the purpose of training other dealerships. The Lindsay Chevrolet Service Manager Matt Phillips should be in charge of dealership service department training programs for all of GM. Additionally, the Service Advisor Gary Thomas should be closely studied as a basis for comparison for how all other Service Advisors should conduct themselves. I simply don’t have enough accolades to throw their way. My most recent experience with them occurred today. After I began to experience a nagging belt squeal, Lindsay Chevrolet replaced the harmonic balancer on my 2000 C5 Corvette. This car is my baby and they treated it exactly like I would have. The first replacement harmonic balancer they installed for me, unfortunately had an internal defect unknown to both Lindsay and me. As soon as I notified them of the issue with the newly replaced HB, they took action to make it right. They got me an immediate appointment, put me in a curtsey car so I wasn’t inconvenienced in any way and went right to work. C5’s are notorious for belt squealing. Locating the issue can be technically challenging. Matt Phillips relentlessly did not stop until he got it exactly right. When I picked up my car this afternoon (earlier than promised!), it purred like a new kitten. It’s been a long time since its sounded this good. They even replaced my tie rod ends during this visit with no additional lost time with the vehicle – and they saved me a LOT of money in the process through the early identification of a tie rod boot issue while they conducted their FREE 27 point inspection of my vehicle. I could say a lot more, but you get the picture. Lindsay Chevrolet Service Department ROCKS! If you haven’t had the unusual pleasure of being 100% completely satisfied with a dealership service department, do yourself a favor and get to know these good people. If I ever need dealer-level maintenance again, I would never go elsewhere – and you shouldn’t either. The only downside to all of this is that I now know that it is possible for a dealership to exceed my every expectation. Consequently, if I ever move to a different city, I will find myself in the unfortunate position of comparing any new service department with Lindsay. More

I purchased a used vehicle, great service from saleperson Steve Kim and also from Jewel Kelly. When I told her Jewel about the last vehicle I brought at Lindsey, a 2007 Colbolt. When I took vehicle in for maintenance, the service department was quick to tell me what was all wrong, but when I tried to have vehicle fixed under warranty that I purchased, it wasn't bumper to bumper like I was told. Jewel seemed concerned and requested I bring the service write up for her to review. More
As a first time car-buyer on a teacher's salary, I was very nervous when visiting Lindsay Chevrolet and was not sure I would be able to buy a car in the near future, much less right away. I expected to be intimidated or confused, maybe even pushed in to buying a car a didn't want. My experience was quite different. The employees at Lindsay are extremely friendly and outgoing in a very genuine way. There is no "buttering" you up to try and convince you to make a purchase you aren't comfortable with. Alfonso in particular made sure I was understanding everything he was saying-- and I did have a lot of questions, including dumb ones! He made sure I could see the cars I was considering lined up side by side and he was extremely patient both with my questions and my father's. He went to great lengths to ensure that I received the best deal available to me and was able to take advantages of all the discounts available to me through Apple Credit. Overall, the experience was very painless and I felt like I left the dealership with a better understanding of cars overall and a brand new car that really fit my lifestyle and personality. More
Along with my daughter, who was looking to make her first purchase of a new car, we arrived at Lindsay Chevrolet shortly after 1000 on Saturday 28 April 12. Mr. Alfonso Brooks met us as we approached the de purchase of a new car, we arrived at Lindsay Chevrolet shortly after 1000 on Saturday 28 April 12. Mr. Alfonso Brooks met us as we approached the dealership. Because this was my daughter's "first automobile buy" I wanted it to be a good experience for her. She was considering a Chevy Sonic. Alfonso worked with her, not me, which is exactly what I wanted. He carefully laid out her options, positioned the hatchback and sedan models side-by-side in the lot, and walked her through the various features, and differences, between the two models. He certainly knew his cars, but then that's what all the sales consultants should know. What made Alfonso special was how well he related to my daughter. Yes, I was hovering around but he was working with her, not me, which is exactly what I wanted. He carefully stepped her through the various new technologies on the Sonic, which was good, for technology is certainly not my strong suite. After the test drive (just my daughter and Alfonso; dad had coffee and a donut in the lounge area of the dealership) we spent a good hour just talking over finance and credit issues. Again, he proceeded at a slow pace so she would not be "lost" in the experience. I felt good about the process, but far more importantly, so did she. And he was completely familiar with working through the credit union that she had selected, got us a "special" discount, and again made sure she was cognizant throughout the time of what he was doing. We also got a quick tour through the servicing area and met the young lady that schedules the appointments, etc. When the deal was finally closed, we went to the office of Ms Jewel Kelly,. Here again found the same attitude. Jewel worked slowly and carefully with my daughter, making sure she understood the rather arcane art of financing, service plans, etc. At all times she was working with the person buying the car, not with her dad, which is what I wanted. But the time we were done, and met several of the other Lindsay sales and finance personnel who made it a point to meet and briefly talk with my daughter, Alfonso had got the new Sonic through the detail shop and was putting on new tags. I was happy...but more importantly...so was my daughter. She tells me that Alfonso called her today just to "check in" to see if everything was going well. I appreciated that.
