"Another Outstanding experience with Nathan Hathaway & Yogi I have been buying cars from Lindsay Chevrolet for the past 10 years for my wife, daughter, two sons and myself. The professional service I receive w I have been buying cars from Lindsay Chevrolet for the past 10 years for my wife, daughter, two sons and myself. The professional service I receive when I visit Lindsay is what keep bringing me back. Nathan Hathaway is an excellent sale representative and is very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles. He is patient and always willing to go the extra mile with his customers. Yogi Sharma is the perfect example that all sales managers should follow. Yogi is truly a professional, and treats you with respect, and never loses his composure. Both Nathan and Yogi work closely with each customer to get them in a vehicle that not only meets their needs, it also meets their price range. Because of sales staff like Nathan and Yogi, I will continue to purchase vehicles from Lindsay in the future as well as recommend Lindsay Chevrolet to friends. More

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I took my car in for the ignition recall on 12/31/2014 the appointment was schedule for 7:30 am. I arrived at 7:25 am signed in and spoke with an advi I took my car in for the ignition recall on 12/31/2014 the appointment was schedule for 7:30 am. I arrived at 7:25 am signed in and spoke with an advisor and was told the repair would take between 4 to 5 hour. I was expecting an hour at most so I asked if I could get shuttled home at around 7:55 am. At 1 pm I called to check on the status of my vehicle and was told that they did not have the parts and it would take about a week to get them. So why didn't I receive a phone call to let me know this because it definitely doesn't take 5 hours to figure it out. After I got off the phone with Lindsay I immediately called GM to report the issue. I went to pickup my car around 5:30 pm, I told the lady at the counter I was there to pick up my car, signed in and sat in the waiting area. I waited an hour, went back to the lady and asked about my vehicle. She asked who helped me, I told her but he had left even though he was there when I arrived. Another guy had me sign some papers and another guy went to retrieve my car. When I get I outside the guy walk backs to me because he can not find my car in the lot across the street. I then follow him across the street to find my car and it is blocked in by another car. So he gives my keys to warm my car and goes back across the street to get the keys for the car that was blocking me in. Then I go no more than a mile down the street and the check engine light comes on. I had no problem before Lindsay Chevrolet had my car. More

Th We needed four visits to have maintenance performed on our vehicle. During the previous visit, my wife requested that the alternator be replaced. The service department told her that it was simply a bad battery, and replaced the battery. We were notified that the vehicle was ready and repaired. The first time we drove the vehicle, the alternator shorted out the battery, causing the car to stall on I495, stranding my father-in-law in rush hour traffic. During this maintenance visit, the service department confirmed that the alternator needed replaced, a procedure that my wife requested during all three previous visits. The service representative required payment for the battery replacement, however the battery would not have needed replacing if the alternator would've been replaced as previously requested. The service department at Lindsay Chevrolet is inept and untrustworthy. This is a systemic problem with Lindsay Chevrolet, as we've had problems with the services completed on both this Tahoe and our 2011 Suburban. Additionally, the sales department is inept and dishonest. My salesman, Julio Rios flat out lied to my wife and I numerous times during the purchase process. He was incapable of admitting that he didn't know information about our vehicle and instead told us a lie and pushed us to accept an inferior vehicle. When we spoke to the inventory manager, the manager also tried to quibble about the truth and was incapable of being an honest individual. Overall I wouldn't recommend Lindsay Chevrolet to any potential customers and would instead recommend that they seek out a different dealership if not a different car company. We were unable to return to the Woodbridge area and attempt to pick up the vehicle again due to military training, deployments, a death in the family, and family hospitalization. The dealership then declared the Tahoe abandoned and sold it at auction, without notifying myself or my wife. We will not own a Chevy again and strongly advise any potential customers to look elsewhere as Lindsay Chevrolet has questionable morals and integrity. More

I purchase my 2012 Equinox at another dealer, but chose to have service performed at Lindsay because their location is more convenient. Over the last two years I have been impressed with the service that I received. That is why I did not look elsewhere for replacing the 2012 with a 2015. I visited the show room and talked with a salesperson, Kevin Mitchell. Kevin was polite and very professional, along with knowledgeable. I think that Kevin went the extra mile in convincing me that I was receiving a good deal. More
Outstanding experience with Nathan Hathaway & Yogi Sharma We received several mailers over the past few months about the possible deals offered at Lindsay Chevrolet and to be honest we were quite skeptical. H We received several mailers over the past few months about the possible deals offered at Lindsay Chevrolet and to be honest we were quite skeptical. However, thanks to Nathan, the over all experience of finding the right SUV with the right options was smooth. The deal we got didn't required a lot of haggling and Yogi Sharma, the General Sales Manager stood behind his offer by giving us a great deal on a 2015 Tahoe LT. With my 28 years in the military I've purchased cars from many different duty stations but working with Nathan & Yogi has been, by far, the best experience in buying a new car.//// Kevin K. More
LIARS On Thursday, November 13th, I located a truck online at cars.com which directed me to this dealership. I called the dealership and was forwarded to a On Thursday, November 13th, I located a truck online at cars.com which directed me to this dealership. I called the dealership and was forwarded to a salesman, DANIEL MATTISON. The truck was advertised as a 2008 Chevrolet 2500 H/D diesel truck with 88k miles for $30,000. Because i was 2.5 hours away and run a landscaping company, i asked that he please try, to his best ability, disclose any major deficiencies with the vehicle. I informed the salesman that I am prior military and have a very high attention to detail, and that i would appreciate if he look the truck over for anything that may be a cause for concern. I asked the salesman if there were any major dents or dings (i understood it was a used truck and expected the usual blemishes associated). I also asked if the truck had been lifted and if there were any after market products installed on the vehicle. He informed me that the truck was all stock, no upgrades, with the exception of a cat-back exhaust system and after market wheels and tires. i specifically asked if the truck had been lifted again. And again he informed me that the truck was a 'solid' truck, no lift, no significant dents, dings...nothing. I asked him several times, as well as asked him to keep me on the line while he walked around the vehicle doing a visual inspection. He told me that he would 'impress me with his attention to detail' and would send me a picture of anything significant. He asked me that i please trust that he would not mislead me. He disclosed a couple very minor dings and the aftermarket exhaust, but nothing more. He also said that i should make the trip down there as soon as possible because he had been receiving a lot of calls on the truck as it is a very hard truck to find with under 100k miles. Therefore, i told him that i would be making the drive that weekend. The following day, Friday, I found my schedule allowing me to make the drive down to the dealership a day early. I called that morning to speak with the salesman whom i had spoken with previously. He would not answer and would not return any messages. I waited until about 1pm at which point i called the dealership and asked to speak with another salesman. This time a female sales woman, LINDSEY, took my call and informed me that the truck had a great deal of repairs and they were unable to sell the vehicle. I figured at that point, that this was the reason why the original salesman never returned my call. However, within 20 minutes i received another call from the original salesman informing me that the female didn't know what she was talking about and the truck needed a 'minor' repair to the steering which it would be undergoing while i made the drive down to their shop. I asked specifically what the repair was. The salesman told me that it needed a new power steering pump due to having larger tires on the vehicle. I asked again why i was told that the vehicle wasn't available for sale by the female saleswoman, and the salesman again informed me that she didn't know what she was talking about. So i made the drive. i arrived at the dealership at about 7pm (3 hours with traffic later). I pulled into the lot where i figured the truck was parked prior to entering the dealership. I called the salesman but no answer so i figured i would check out the truck first. Immediately upon pulling up the truck, i realized that i had been duped. The truck had a 2.5" body lift. The inner fender wells had been damaged from wheels rubbing on them. It appeared that they had been removed at some point in time in the past and re-installed in an amateurish fashion (mounting hardware not seated completely, mounting holes were torn, etc.). The front bumper appeared to have been removed at some point in the past, or replaced completely with a new one, and had not been reinstalled properly. It was hanging down and mounting hardware were not seated properly. The front rail of the bed where the bed meets the cab was bent in more than 2" from something very heavy that appeared to have slid forward and slammed into the front of the bed when the brakes were applied too quickly and load not being secured properly. There was an after market tow hitch assembly mounted to the truck which was also damaged from abuse in towing heavy equipment. Keep in mind, these are all deficiencies that JUMP out at you when you approach the vehicle. It does not take a trained eye to spot these things. It was clear that this was not the truck that was described to me on the phone by the salesman. I had then realized why the dealership was probably not willing to sell the vehicle. I then continued to call the salesman who finally answered to phone. I asked him to come out to the lot and meet me at the truck. He would not. Instead, the female sales woman i had spoken with previously came out. I explained the entire situation to her at which point she told me that her and the original salesman had a argument over the fact that she told me on the phone that the vehicle wasn't for sale. I asked her to call the original salesman to tell him to come out and meet me at the truck, but she couldn't get him to come out. I called the salesman at least 6 more times with no answers or return calls. At that point, I decided to go into the dealership. I asked for the salesman by name. He stood up to shake my hand and acted like he never saw my calls! I proceeded to inform him that he had seriously misled me and wasted my time. I was intercepted at this time by the sales manager, FRANKIE, who asked me to come back to his office and speak behind closed doors. I again explained the entire situation. He admitted that it was very wrong and also informed me that the truck was indeed not for sale due to major repairs needed. He said that the salesman in question would be reprimanded and apologized for my time wasted. He attempted to sell me a vehicle at their 'Love It" price which was still another $20,000 more than i planned. He presented another vehicle to me that was less truck (extended cab when i needed crew cab for my family; and the lowest trim level when the truck i drove there for was the highest trim level offered by chevrolet). He gave me his card and promised to call me if he came across anything in the $30k price range that met the same requirements i requested. This was clearly a classic Bate And Switch maneuver. Buyers need to beware when entertaining the idea of purchasing a vehicle from this business. I was lied to several times. An entire evening wasted when i could have been working making money. More
