Tried to blame me for an oil leak,said I drilled holes So I want to start with the dealer gave me a fair price for my trade in and honored a holiday sale price. The service manager on the other hand well lets just say I have more confidence in a Walmart mechanic. It was raining when I purchased the vehicle and when I inspected the vehicle I did not notice the oil leaks. I brought my vehicle to an ASE certified garage that I have used for 35 years. When we put the vehicle on the lift we noticed two leaks. One from the oil heat exchanger and a CV boot. Basically when I brought it back to the service manager she accused me of drilling holes where both leaks were!!! Anyway I had to replace the C.V. shaft, the cooling hose, the driver side vacuum hub,the 4x4 didnt work, replace the brakes and get a front end alignment all out of my own pocket. This was a $40,000 truck not some $1000 trade in. I was so upset basically being called a lier and xxxxxxx that it wasnt worth the stress of dealing with her or any of the sales managers because the sale was done and they could care less. More
Poor sales manager; yelled at me and intimidated me tonight! I arrived to Lia VW today to sign papers and pick up a new Tiguan. My salesman Aaron (great) informed me when I was there on Saturday 9/23/17 that he would not be in today, but would arrange for my pick up/papers for today. I called earlier today and spoke with Bill to ask about insurance and confirm I was coming in tonight at 5:30 (as arranged with Aaron this past Saturday.) He was kind in sharing the needed information with me and when I hung up, I confirmed the 5:30 appt for tonight. When I arrived today, the staff (Kerri) welcomed me and told me that there would be a little bit of a wait, as they had deliveries or shipments and had been running behind. Kerri even went to show me my car to help pass the time. When it was approaching 7pm, I went to Mr. Proctor's office to inquire about the delay. He informed me they weren't even expecting me today. They were expecting me tomorrow. I told him that my understanding was that Aaron and I had set up the appt for this evening. He argued with me about this and I ultimately had to redirect him and tell him that would be more of an issue between he and his staff, but that I was interested in putting some momentum on my visit there today. Mr. Proctor began to yell at me that I had an attitude and he was clearly was attempting to intimidate me by the tone and volume of his voice. He became very scary to me at that point and I was astounded that he would treat anyone like that. When I spoke to Mr. Proctor I couldn't get him to turn away from his computer to look at me. He yelled at me for "barging" into his office (I knocked and said "excuse me") and he told me that I came into their dealership with an "attitude" today. He told me that they had "bent over backwards" to deal with me the other day when we were engaged in pricing of my lease. He told me that today they were "scrambling around" to fit me in since they were not expecting me. I took a couple pictures of staff in Mr. Proctor's office with staff sitting in chairs doing literally nothing. I was so very upset to see that, because it didn't feel like there was any "scrambling around." Mr. Proctor's yelling and intimidation of me became so irrational that I then requested to leave the deal and no longer lease a new vehicle from Lia VW tonight. He welcomed that request and when I asked for a refund of my deposit, he snapped at me that they were closed. Mr. Proctor lacked any level of professionalism and I was very scared by the yelling and intimidation. I beleive his staff were a little startled as well because they cleared the area pretty quickly when he raised his voice to me. While I was waiting for his staff (Kerri was great, Aaron was great on Saturday) to put my plates back onto my car, he was marching around telling his staff that it was easier this way anyways; clearly for me to hear. I am very concerned that Mr. Proctor used this kind of intimidation with a customer. I did not raise my voice to him at all and am dismayed about why he felt like he could treat me like this. Very disappointed in this man. I can only hope that his actions do not represent all of Lia VW staff! More

Some members of service department are poor I took my car in here because the 'low oil pressure turn off engine' light was on. They diagnosed it as a damaged oil pan and charged me close to $700 to put a new one on. On my way home the oil pressure light came on again. They got it towed back (after a struggle with Nicole over who should cover it). It turned out a $15 oil pressure switch was faulty and I was told it must have coincidentally failed the previous day. Then my car started leaking oil all over the place because the technician botched the oil pan installation. I couldn't stomach going back again so I finally just replaced it myself for $60 - a $640 dollar saving over what I was charged. More

I drove 40 minutes and through traffic only to be turned away. Then they said I have to drop of the car on a weekday and not to wait there was not any promise they could have it done in a day now were talking about a rattle. On top of all this the car is covered under warranty and they want me to pay a 150 diagnostic fee and then they will determine if the warranty will cover the service. Why even get the warranty when they can decide if it was a covered service I am still paying payments on this vehicle. Buyer Beware More

If this is the type of people Lia VW has working there, I surely don't want them working on my car. I will never give Lia VW my business again and will share this negative experience with family and friends. More
