Leaves a bad taste in your mouth about even owning another Lexus. Corporate should teach these folks about customer service. Lies from sales force when attempting to buy a car from them using services like Costco that claim they are on the list of dealers, yet they will NOT honor Costco prices or even disclose what those prices are. I bought the Lexus from a different dealer. Now using them for service and the experience with the service reps has been mixed, some good and some bad, but what's worse is the lack of standing behind anything an employee tells you and the false claim they lack the empowerment to deviate from the bull they are spewing. My wife found a used Ford Ranger she wanted so we drove 2 hours to check it out. Made the mistake and drove down in my Jeep which I guess labeled us as white trash. Everyone who was looking at a Lexus was h hours to check it out. Made the mistake and drove down in my Jeep which I guess labeled us as white trash. Everyone who was looking at a Lexus was helped before we were. We finally got help, decided to buy the truck, made our deal, and paid cash for the vehicle. The finance department made a mess of the paperwork, getting phone #'s and address wrong. Both my wife and I tried reaching them by calling, texting, emailing, and the pop-up helper on the site for over a week. No one every returned our calls. Now I have to wait for the post office to send notice a undeliverable, and start all over with the DMV. DON' BUY HERE! More
I just got off the phone with the used car sales manager who, after 8 days, decided not to stand by a transaction I’ve be negotiating. I received an offer to purchase a 2021 RX350 that was advertised on Car who, after 8 days, decided not to stand by a transaction I’ve be negotiating. I received an offer to purchase a 2021 RX350 that was advertised on Car Gurus. After telling the salesman I lived in Arizona and would not be able to pick it up for a couple of weeks, I was transferred to his sales manager. During our conversation, I mentioned I would be paying cash and could arrange for a shipper and was told they needed a credit application which I agreed to but didn’t want to put my social security number in writing for security purposes. Since then the sales manager has been giving me excuses that their office was backed up and the sales agreement w was being prepared but the car was mine and in fact was no longer for sale. This morning, I received an email from Car Gurus advertising the car that supposedly was being held for me at that point, I called my salesman asking why they were still advertising the same car. He again referred me to his sales manager who assured me it was done in error and the car was being held for me. About an hour or so later, I went on line to get the dealership’s phone number and browsed their used car inventory only to find the exact car advertised on their website. I then admittedly upset, contacted my salesman and voiced my concern. I just got off the phone from the used car manager who basically told me they weren’t going to honor the transaction, So my friends, beware when dealing with Thousand Oaks Lexus.!! More

When there was jus Until this year, the service has been incredible. I'v recommended this dealership to my friends because of the incredible service. When there was just a small issue that I thought need attention, they did it, often without a charge. I trusted that I would not be charged for things that my car did not need. Always courteous. Fast forward to 2022. I brought it in for routine maintenance and fluid check. They tried to upsell me on somethings that had already been done six months prior. My bill came to over $600.00 without being told that the charge would be this much. I always knew before then just what was to be done and the cost. I would be called prior to work needed. Not this time. I can't figure out what they did.....to cost $600.00. They left the air filter on the front seat, they did not replace the batteries for the fob, etc. Today they wanted to charge me 200 to do something that would have been the third choice. Bah, go elsewhere More

Dogs have a better understanding of loyalty and devotion. In fact, maybe Anderson should hire them as their service reps. The Dealership will still be incompetent, but at least the reason for it will make their customers smile. Bought a certified 2016 LS from the prior dealership owner. They were amazing. On top of everything. Handled problems fairly and quickly. Took immediate responsibility for any mistakes. When Anderson took over, everything went south. They did my 60,000 mile service around 56,000, as requested. Roughly 6 months later, my #2 cylinder started misfiring. I had to leave three messages, over a week and a half, before anyone called me back. You see, at Anderson Lexus, you don't call your service rep. You leave a message and they call you back - if and when they get around to it. My messages, left with the receptionist, grew increasingly stern. By the time a rep finally returned my calls (at this point, my car had been inoperable for 10 days), I was fuming. She spent 2 minutes telling me that my certified warranty had expired 2 months ago. No empathy. No allegiance. No offer to fix something they likely broke when they did the 60,000 mile service. Just, 'too little, too late, too bad.' Can't wait to read Anderson's apology here. "We're sorry for the inconvenience. We expect more from ourselves and see this as a learning experience. Call us. Try again. We promise, next time, we'll have vastly improved how we blow you off..."
