I have an RX 450h+ and my moonroof imploded while I was driving on the freeway. The glass moonroof was cracked fully open and it shattered spontaneously into pieces. The vehicle was drivable to the dealer, so I took it in. Forest and his colleague assisted and wrote up the repairs under full investigation. The dealer absorbed the cost under goodwill since I’m a Lexus customer and they couldn’t find the exact fault of this incident. Their service was exceptional so say the least. Thank you gentlemen and a brilliant job. I’ll be seeing you all soon for my next service. More
Like Cinderella at midnight, was how I felt after my purchase experience. To their credit, this sales team has truly perfected their sales experience! Their goal is to have each customer feel valued and special! It was unbelievably true until my purchase was made and there was a serious issue with my car in the first two weeks. I reached out to my salesperson, David Feiss, and he deflected me to the sales manager Noah Bissonette who took my call, promised to research the issue and get back to me. After many attempts to connect with either of these men, no response. Bottom line, no matter how nice they are prior to the sale, they are just salesmen and could care less after the deal is made, much to my disappointment. Maybe the problem was that I trusted them and am simply naive. I researched the issue on my own and found lots of information online that is helping me clear up the problem. I am sharing it with you now so you don't have to suffer health issues the way my daughter and I have. When driving in my brand new Lexus, my face became beet red and hot, my throat was irritated, my voice affected and I felt a general discomfort and irritability. My adult daughter with asthma started wheezing. The cause was discovered, VOC's or volatile organic compounds or the "off-gassing" of the new car materials: "The "new car smell" is primarily due to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) off-gassing from materials used in the car's interior. These VOCs can cause allergic reactions or sensitivities in some individuals, leading to nausea, headaches, or other symptoms. To mitigate the smell and its potential effects, good ventilation, sunlight exposure, and air purification can be helpful. " There are many things you can do to help with this issue. Search VOC's online but in the meanwhile, keep the windows open as much as you can in case your reaction is more serious than ours were. FYI- it took over 1 month to air out the car enough so that we can drive unaffected. The team at the dealership said they have never heard of this and did not offer to research it for me. Bottom line, the car was sold. They don't care. More
