I have been teaching at a large Midwestern university for the past 12 years. One of the courses I teach is “The Psychology of Consumer Behavior” and I have a fair amount of research and professional experience in this area. Consequently, I have become familiar with the personal characteristics that are predictive of having a strong customer service orientation; traits which in turn, substantially contribute to the experience of customer satisfaction. I came to Lexus of Merrillville to purchase a RX 350 as a Christmas present for my wife, and I must say that the guys at Lexus, and especially Mr. Lebo, exceeded my expectations. Mr. Lebo was of tremendous assistance in providing me with important information, guidance, and support throughout the pre- and post-purchase product acquisition phases of the RX 350. Throughout our multiple interactions, I feel I have become reasonably familiar with Jim’s character and work ethic. Jim’s pattern of demonstrated customer service behaviors includes being exceptionally responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable of Lexus products, and his interpersonal/relational skills made me feel comfortable throughout the entire purchase process. He displayed excellent communication skills, and was forthcoming and conscientious in his customer interactions. He reliably addressed all questions and concerns I had and was extremely responsive in his communication patterns and providing updates along the way. Most of all, I appreciated Jim’s “down-to-earth” character, humor, and given the car was a Christmas present for my wife, his sensitivity and attentiveness to maintaining the “top secret” nature of the purchase! Jim’s efforts and diligence contributed to making this one of our most memorable holiday celebrations ever, and quite literally, “with a bow on top!” The preceding combination of characteristics represents the highest level of customer service I have experienced in some time. Jim is an exceptionally capable person, who in my estimation represents an invaluable asset to Lexus of Merrillville. In closing, I would like to say that while it was the exceptional product quality that initially attracted me to Lexus products, Jim Lebo will keep me coming back, and I will not hesitate to recommend Lexus of Merrillville to my friends and family members. I wanted a 2011 RX and I informed Mark what I wanted and what I did not need. I informed him of the interior color,style,exterior color and year. I gave him a secord choice that I might accept. He informed me that he wanted me to be happy with what I purchase. I informed him to stay within a figure that I could agree to, for I live on a budget. Mark told me that they did not have the car I requested in stock, but he would have the car in a day. Within 24 hours he called me and stated that he found the RX and I would be please. He Communicated that he was waitng on delivery and would call me when I would be able to pick the car up. He was deligent and on target of meetig my first choice. When it came to getting the staff to cleaning the car switching my personal items to the new car he did not miss a beat. They did not remember my ipass and cleaning the mats he was on it. He went over the features and gave me the opportunity to demostrate, before I completed the paper work. I have been driving a lexus for over ten years, but he patiently explain and demorstrated how to work the new features of the 2011 RX. He stated that I could call him if I had questions after delivery. This is an individual that takes time to talk to me and addresses my concerns each time I visit the dealership, and I visit weekly. I have oberserved him with other customers and he goes over 100% to please all of the customes who come in for car wash or service. Mark is the reason I keep coming back to Lexus of Merriville. More

I have purchased three new cars from Lexus of Merrillville over the last several years. The reason I continue to purchase from them is because my salesperson, Marc Lovejoy, consistently goes bey Merrillville over the last several years. The reason I continue to purchase from them is because my salesperson, Marc Lovejoy, consistently goes beyond the call of duty. The sales process is always quick and seamless and everyone I've come in contact with is very friendly. Marc keeps in contact with me periodically and informs me of any special deals or financing options available at the dealership. Lastly, it is important for him to know that I am a happy customer even after the sales process is complete. In addition, good customer service is hard to come by nowadays. Lexus of Merrillville's service department is top notch. The way they interact with both new and old customers is excellent and they work extremely hard to stand by the quality service that is expected from the Lexus brand. More
Great experience. There is nothing like looking at a new car in the foul weather! The dealership made it a great experience. MARC LOVEJOY was very helpful and patient as we decided what Lexus RX we REALLY wanted. He is very professional and knowledgeable too! He wanted to be sure we were happy- now and in 6 months! Marc is very polite and has many return clients. He will make time for you- and give each one the needed attention. He returns his calls and keeps his appointments-He treated our time valuable as well! Marc Lovejoy is friendly,fair and honest- an expert for sure! We are very happy with our new RX350- and feel comfortable that we were treated fairly with the puchase and the trade-in of our previous RX! Not only did we have a great salesman- we have a friend too! You will also find great customer service in the service department. Todd Sobczak was also a great help to us- in solving an insurance claim. Because of him- we were able to have glass replaced (after damage) with certified Lexus parts! I phoned in to see if a vehicle was still on the lot, and spoke with Tom. He was ready to have the car inside, not even knowing if I would make it in to see it. (raining hard). We bought the car that night, mainly because there was no pressure from Tom. Like a lot of people, I knew what I wanted and he did not try pushing us into something else. He knows the ins and outs of vehicle dealings which also was a plus. Even if I walked in to buy a car and Tom forgot my name, as you can see from the other reviews and mine on Tom and the dealership, thats why you'd repeat business there, because your concerns on big purchases are easy and worry free. My car deal had issues that Tom took care of as quicky as possible. Financing went just as easy with plenty of time to understand everything. The car washing will be a nice plus... if it quits snowing! Thanks again Tom More
