This is a large dealership that sells luxury cars, not some small mom & pop shop. I’m sure car dealers have made a lot of money selling cars the last couple of years since car prices have skyrocketed. So to charge a 3.5% transaction fee to customers for using credit card just seems like they’re trying to nickel and dime their customers. Again, service was good. I just don’t like their new policy. Recently visited the dealership for two purposes. First, I dealt with Alex Castro regarding the expiration of my lease. Very personable and professional. Once I told him I was going to purchase the vehicle upon termination of the lease, he provided me with all the information I needed to complete the process next month, including the ability to trade in another vehicle as part of the process. Second, I met with Jose Garcia in Service. Had an issue with the rear wiper which was making noise. Like Alex, Jose was very personable and professional. He examined the problem and with the help of the mechanical staff, was able to resolve the problem in a short amount of time. In addition, he took it upon himself to check the remaining life of the brakes (when I was there in June, I was told I would need brakes in short order). He told me I had 3 mm left and that it could wait until my next service appointment in June. No pressure at all. Very satisfied with the people I have encountered at AL. Top notch people and service.
