While dealing with the stress of moving again, we also had to deal with 2 BMWs, a 2011 Z4 and a 2011 535xi, coming off of lease within days of each other that were originally leased in NY. We were told about Pembroke Pines BMW by the dealer in Daytona because we weren't able to finalize our decisions while up there, though not for lack of the Daytona dealer trying. My husband is not a man who makes a decision hastily. We could be considered tough customers as these are cars number 5 and 6 that we would be leasing from BMW. We're big fans of the brand. We decided to go to the Pembroke Pines BMW on Wednesday and speak with the sales manager, Malcolm. He was aware of us from the Daytona manager. After greeting us warmly, he introduced us to Les Cutler, who would be handling our new purchases. I had already done some research on the dealer and Les's name was the one that kept coming up with rave reviews. Not only did I feel relieved that we were in the hands of someone with high regard, it became obvious within a few minutes why Les gets the reviews that he does. He loves his job and his clients and it shows. My husband wanted everything he had in his 5 series, minus the big payment. Les was able to show him that a 335 would fit the criteria and still keep him happy. His new car will arrive in a week or so. For me, I had my heart set on a red Z4. They happened to have one at their Fort Lauderdale location that Les had brought over. Though it didn't have all the options I had wanted, it was a close match and something I could happily live with for the next 3 years. I drove away in the new car a few hours later! My husband is still shocked that we didn't have to wait a day or two to pick up my car. Les even went above and beyond to make me happy when I wasn't satisfied with the detailing of my car. He had his top guy take care of buffing the car and making it perfect for me. We were with Les for almost 8 hours that day. Not once did he show any impatience or annoyance that this deal was taking up a lot of his time. He was patient and kind from the moment we met. He said he treats people the way he wants to be treated. He not only talks the talk, but he walks the walk, too! I am a General Manager for a luxury goods company and Les is a person I would recruit for my business. He's that good! He should be a trainer, teaching all salespeople how to treat clients. His service and knowledge is by far the best I've encountered in the car industry. Now that I've had the opportunity to work with Les, he has two more clients for life! We wouldn't go anywhere else. I also need to mention Mary, whose last name escapes me. She handles lease turn ins. Mary happens to love Z4s, too! She was excited for me to get a red Z4 and she couldn't wait to see it, too. She made the whole process easy, quick, and painless and with a great sense of humor. He sweated every detail as we relaxed. Upon signing all the paperwork, we went outside and found the car to be flawlessly perfect.
