Had my BMW serviced and immediately reported a minor problem. Was told that I could return anytime within the 2 year warranty for repair. At my next repair 10 months later, was told that the problem was problem. Was told that I could return anytime within the 2 year warranty for repair. It is always a pleasure to visit Lauderdale BMW showroom and service area. It’s always clean and people always greet you with enthusiasm. The coffee and bottled water is a nice touch. I’ve dealt with doz and service area. It’s always clean and people always greet you with enthusiasm. The coffee and bottled water is a nice touch. I’ve dealt with dozens of car dealerships both personally and professionally, and can say without hesitation that Lauderdale BMW is tops in their field. A clean facility and good coffee is nice, but what really separates them from the rest is the quality people they employ. In choosing Lauderdale BMW to sell or lease me a vehicle, the biggest factor for me is Steve Pelkey. I’ve always felt Steve is atypical for the auto industry. Steve continually proves he is honest, sincere and always delivers what he promises. This is so refreshing in the auto industry which doesn’t usually enjoy a great reputation. I know a little about your industry not so much from my wife and I leasing or buying twenty cars but more so from representing many major automobile dealerships in Florida in some of their legal matters over the past decade or two. Without hesitation, I refer Steve to all my friends, family members and colleagues. Last month, my “older” brother leased an X-6 from Steve, Howard’s first BMW, hopefully not his last. I’ve referred many friends, doctors, brokers, attorneys and some judges, all of whom have come back to me with glowing reports of how they were treated. Steve is a tremendous asset Lauderdale BMW to your organization, and btw, I do not have a personal friendship with Steve outside the dealership. I’m motivated to write this review simply to let you know what a great job Steve has done over the past two decades with me, my family and the couple dozen satisfied customers I referred to Steve over that time. First time at this location for service. Service Advisor Jason Gordy (I guess you can call him that) made me feel in a hurry and was not very welcoming. I have previously visited Lauderdale Imports up in th Jason Gordy (I guess you can call him that) made me feel in a hurry and was not very welcoming. I have previously visited Lauderdale Imports up in the Ft. Lauderlale N. Federal Hwy and the experience was great so I was expecting the same here at their Pembroke Pines location - boy was I wrong. Follow up was poor; they replaced my top inside liner which was loose. They re-attached the convertible top improperly leaving the rubber seals that go around the bottom edge of the top loose. I noticed it right away and refused to take the car. They promised to have it fixed by tomorrow. Didn't even offer to upgrade me to a loaner and ended up with the same crappy rental. I should also mention the mechanic working on it did not even bother to clean the inside a bit - full of smudges and dirt. Now I get home and start reading the paperwork further. Turns out during aligment, the mechanic noticed a bent rear lower control arm which kept him from properly aligning the R/R camber properly. He also noticed tires worn unevenly as a result. Did the sales advisor tell me this? NO! What's worst, he noted the paperwork as "Customer Declined Work at this Time". How abysmal is that!!! Can I possibly rust anything else this guy says? I am calling tomorrow and demanding the service manager to complaint. I never expected an experience this bad from BMW. I guess it's not like it once was... More
