Our experience here was a nightmare. Yes they were super friendly, but after the deal went sour, no one greeted us, and it was like we stood out. Problem that happened here, was first the dealership when we sat down and talked, we told them straight from the beginning that we had bad credit, and we are not trying to ask anyone to be a co-signer. LHM reps kept telling us no worries, we'll get you a car today no prob. Well long story stort after numbers were thrown at us and we agreed to go with the deal, Dealership put us in a Brand New 2014 Dodge Avenger. WHOA! We were super excited! First time ever owners of a brand new vehicle. Well after 2 weeks of having vehicle, the dealership was hounding my references to get hold of us, (our hm line was down) and we got an email from their credit finance manager and in the email all it stated was "YOU NEED TO CALL ME BACK" end of email. Wow...so professional. hmm anyway then I was able to call them and the response we got was " Well looks like you have to give us our car back and you take yours, when can we make this happen"? Apparently, after the DEALER put us in this brand new vehicle, who ever they tried to finance the car wouldn't finance us and so there was nothing they wanted to do other than get their vehicle back. I felt horrible, After already explaining to these people from the beginning about our credit situation, and yet they still gave us a vehicle and we had it for 2 weeks. Then I received a letter stating that they want us to pay an amount for every mile we put on the vehicle. WOW really, you are going to CHARGE US for a deal that YOU put us through and because YOU folks did not do your job right, we're being punished? I emailed the General Manager of the dealership of my concerns, my issues of everything that happened, and til' this day STILL NO RESPONSE! ( Not surprised) Needless to say we turned in the beautiful car, got our car back and all was said to us "sorry it didn't work out, but come back when your credit issues are worked out". I will not recommend anyone to take a deal with this dealership til' THE DEAL IS REALLY FINAL! we having no idea really what goes down with the dealerships, all we knew was hey you were approved for this, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW VEHICLE take it home and thought we were all done. NOPE apparently the deal isn't done. Our sales rep that first helped us, Nate and Evan were awesome, yes they helped us as far as they could, but when it came down to the managers and signing, I feel that we were treated great at first, but after the so called deal was not official, we got the cold treatment, we stood out like a sore thumb! I will NEVER go back to LHM Bountiful EVER!!!! More

I was in shock at how sleazy and poorly run this dealership is. Salesmen stabbing each other in the back just to get to me. From the very beginning I was lied to. I was told everything was good to go and to hurry in, so I drove over an hour to pick up my car. Once I arrived I waited around for 3 hours just to get into the finance manager's office to sign paperwork. At which point I was told they didn't have financing arranged. He tried to trick me into signing the sale contacts. I sold cars for 3 years and knew he was lying. Yet he kept on. Then he made fun of the car I was trading in, talked down to me and tried to make me feel stupid. They expected me to take a car home with the possibility of having to return it a week later or pay hundreds more than I wanted to each month. They suggested I lie to my friends and family by saying "I was thinking about purchasing the Jeep", so that I'd have an excuse if I had to return it. Who thinks this is a good business practice? At the end I left in my original car. The salesmen are pushy and will harass you with phone calls. The finance manager is a liar, rude and unprofessional. And the whole dealership is the epitome of why people hate to buy cars. Do yourself a favor and buy from any other dealer in Utah, or even out of state. Shame on you LHM. More
Great experience at LHM Bountiful this week! I had an objective to look at saving money and getting into a newer vehicle with low miles. I did all that and more! Our experience at LHM Dodge was great. We were treated fairly and honestly. Ric Leonard was very helpful in making sure that our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan was ready for delivery. No integrity. They agree to a price verbally and then have you sit down to do the paperwork and jack the price up several thousand hours later just before you sign. Then they agreed to the initial price again and then just before signing, they jacked it up again at the last second. I was amazed. We had to do this for hours and until they finally accepted my check for the initial agreement. I had heard about this type garbage before but never experienced it before. I couldn't believe it. There are plenty of other dealerships to choose from steer clear of them. They also agreed in writing to repair some rust and small existing body damage at the time of purchase. Even though that is all in writing they have since reneged on that promise and refuse to respond to any of my requests to have that taken care of. More
I bought my car from a Larry H Miller Lexus in Lindon but because of convenience took it to the closest dealership to my office. My review involves the entire process but will say that every time I have talked with someone they have been friendly. Where to start? I have now been without my car for over 5 WEEKS!!! I have never received a phone call from anyone in service updating me on what the status is, what the problem's were, or even when it is to be finished. My reason for a poor review is for two reasons: it should take 5 weeks with no communication to replace a transmission. Second, I feel like the priority is low because I bought it from another dealership, brought an Audi to a non-Audi dealership for service, and that since it was a warranty case that I was at the mercy of the process. What has frustrated me the most is lack of communication, too many protocols and being passed to my service rep's voicemail because no one else shows any interest to help me. I called two days ago and explained my situation to a gal on the phone and she agreed that my 5 weeks of waiting was inconvenient and surprising that no one has called. She told me she would find out what was happening with my car and then would be back in touch. Guess what? No phone call until I decided to call right before closing. I also mentioned that I needed my car by Friday morning because of commitments that won't allow me to ride my motorcycle. She mentioned something about exploring whether a loaner could be arranged for my needs. No response again. I called again this morning to be told that hopefully my car will be done tomorrow afternoon. I'm writing this now because I'm frustrated that unless Larry H Miller tries to help me with a loaner that I have got to try and figure out how to find a vehicle to use. This whole experience has been one-sided. Again, having received no phone calls from LHM has been disappointing. I have had to use my time to call and even drive by for updates that basically consisted of "I'm waiting for an update and will get back to you as soon as I hear something." I'm done at this point and really feel screwed. It can't be that hard and I'd be glad to suggest ideas of how to make the service experience better. To end, when I dropped the car off I felt like I should understand that shipping the car to get fixed would leave me at the mercy of the other dealer and they wouldn't be able to control much of it. Well, to have my torque converter and transmission replaced over the course of the last 5+ weeks is I guess is acceptable and tolerated in automotive service. I am a customer service manager with over 20 years of experience and have to say, this was the BEST service experience that I have ever received. I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 10th An experience and have to say, this was the BEST service experience that I have ever received. I was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 10th Anniversary Edition in silver with a matching silver hard top and had been told by another dealership it was impossible to acquire this vehicle. During my first phone conversation with Morgan Parkin, he was able to locate the vehicle that I wanted, arranged a trade with the other dealership, and secured the vehicle for delivery without even asking for a security deposit from me. EXCELLENT communication from the entire team at Larry H Miller Bountiful, I received prompt follow up calls and emails to let me know of the status of my vehicle. Larry and Gabriel were very engaged, friendly, enthusiastic, positive, and accommodating. The team was VERY understanding of the problems that I had with a previous dealer and took time to make me feel comfortable with the deal, no pressure about any part of the transaction, and made me feel valued as a customer. Finally, the sales team provided me with a very reasonable rate for my purchase with no haggle or stress to negotiate the lowest possible price. I felt that I was treated with honesty, integrity, and have never worked with a more ethical dealership in my life. My expectations of the new car buying process were exceeded in EVERY possible way and I will absolutely be telling ALL of my peers, coworkers, and friends that this is the place to buy their next vehicle!
