Air conditioner repair I spent $526 for a part to repair my air conditioner. I started the car at the dealership and it didn't work. I turned engine off and it functioned. Then for about 2 or 3 weeks the air conditioner worked intermittently and I returned to the dealer once to see the service consultant who wasn't present that day. I finally returned it to be fixed correctly. I was told that the unit needed a new module and they would honor about $300 of the $526 already paid and charge another $1100 to put in a new module. I was told by the consultant that he wasn't even sure that the module would correct the problem and I might have to return again in the future for more repair I elected not to have the repair done. It is ridiculus to pay $1600 to repair an air conditioner in a car with 80000 miles on it. I have never really been happy with this car and will probably never buy another Ford.. More
