I have been buying cars My recent experience in buying a new car from Joyce Koons Honda of Manassas was far better than any of my many previous ones. I have been buying cars since the 1950s and I dread the process. This time it was actually a pleasant experience made more so by sales representative CJ Zhu. CJ was up on every technical aspect of the vehicle and took every opportunity to explain, show and teach me how to operate all the technology and how to integrate my new-to-me smart phone with the features of the car. He good-naturedly answered questions that I had to ask several times due to my 79-year-old memory. He spent the whole day with me, having to obtain the car of my color-choice from another lot. He also provided candid assessments of various service plans and optional add-ons. When I stated a desired range of monthly payments, CJ and the manager actually came in a little lower. I was more than a little surprised and certainly gratified. I got what is turning out to be a great car, the Hybrid 2020 Insight, and actually enjoyed the process.
