I drive the extra distance to Koons Honda service (I live about 3 minutes from Tysons Honda) to deal with Ralph Freese because he has always been very honest and as accommodating as possible. Had the car in for 30,000 mile service. Ralph explained all that they would do and the price that would be charged. I had coupons and they were added in without any problem. I put a lot of trust in your service people and have never had a problem that wasn't quickly resolved. My primary reason for continuing to use you for service after eight years now is the help and information Ralph provides. More
I have been taking my Honda Pilot to Koon’s Honda for regular maintenance since was bought from there as my 2010 Accord EX and a 2008 Fit that was later traded for the Accord. Even though sometimes I cal regular maintenance since was bought from there as my 2010 Accord EX and a 2008 Fit that was later traded for the Accord. Even though sometimes I call for appointment the last minute, it did not matter how busy they were, they always took the car and worked on it and the car always been washed! THAT IS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The service personnel are always very polite, attentive and listen to you. Keep up the good work! Additionally the discounts I receive regularly my e-mail save me some $$$$ and that is well appreciated as well. So my family is not only a HONDA family but we will always do business with Koon’s dealership as long as we receive this kind of outstanding service. Thanks, More

They then continued to impress me by having my car and all my paper work ready for me before I arrived. I was in and out with my new car in less than an hour. I just love my 2011 Honda Pilot. This is the 6th vehicle I have purchased from Koons Honda in Manassas. The purchase process was pain free and the Service Department has always been a pleasure to deal with. I have purchased from Koons Honda in Manassas. They are extremely accomodating in scheduling appointments and in performing the work quickly and efficiently. The car is returned freshly washed and sparkling clean. Everyone I have dealt with has been courteous and friendly. It is obvious that customer satisfaction is their number one goal. My Pilot is a joy to drive, and purchasing it at such a wonderful dealership has earned my loyalty. I can recommend them highly and without any hesitation. More
I've been dealing with Koons for a number of years and have always been satisfied with my experiences there, both in Sales and Service. I only wish they were closer to where I live! I have been a long time Honda owner who has not had problems with dealerships of cars that I've bought from/serviced over the past. When I moved to Virginia several years ago, I bought a car from KOON problems with dealerships of cars that I've bought from/serviced over the past. When I moved to Virginia several years ago, I bought a car from KOONS of MANASSAS. After that, things went badly down hill. Service issues were poorly dealt with. I was told I didn't have problems with my driver window on my 2009 Civic Hybrid, after it broke and had to be replaced once. 2 service appointments later, I was told, "Oh, yeah, the window IS off the track." I felt questioned when I told them I was still having problems. I bought a 2009 Civic Hybrid from Koons. I talked to another 2009 Civic Hybrid owner who bought/services his car at Tyson's dealership and loves them, and told me they recommended that he have a software update for his hybrid battery. I needed service at Koons several weeks later, asked if I needed an update and was told NO. At a future service app't, I was told I needed the update! My Civic hybrid's gas mileage was well below what it was advertised to be, PLUS the IMA battery is known by Honda corp. as one with major deterioration problems. I bought the car to have peace of mind, and due to the issues of the hybrid's battery problems, I don't have it. I wrote an email to the head sales manager, STEVEN BURGER, asking for help and to trade in my hybrid for a gas engine vehicle. At first, he was extremely personable, telling me he'd take care of me. After weeks passed, and little/nothing was done to help me, I became very discouraged. Twice I appointments were set with a sales person who was assigned to help me by Steven. Twice the salesman didn't show up, none the less even call me to cancel! Unbelievably poor customer service. I called STEVEN BURGER and asked him to PLEASE call me back as it was important. No return call. Yesterday, I realized the frustrations I've experienced over the past 4 years with KOONS of MANASSAS SALES as well as SERVICE dep'ts was not worth it. Yesterday I traded in my 2009 Civic hybrid (only 14,00 miles) and bought a Nissan (gas engine). The first thought when I drove off the Nissan's car lot with my new car was, YIPEE! I don't have to ever deal with KOONS of MANASSAS any longer! I'm sorry to say that it is not only me who has had very bad experiences with this dealership. I work at the local hospital and have talked with two people I work with who told me they have heard nothing but negative things about Koons. Another person at the hospital told me their son bought a car from Koons in Manassas, had many problems and wound up going to the Fairfax Honda dealership for much better customer service. Sorry to say it's not only me who will never go to Koons. My hope is that this helps you before you make the mistake I did. More
