Went to these guys trying to get out of a Tahoe XLT, they were extremely helpful and courteous. I ended up buying a 2000 GMC Sonoma and swapping out the Tahoe. About a month after purchase a short in the electrical system caused the cd player to fry. They repaired the short and replaced the radio without a problem on short notice. I had such an enjoyable experience with these folks that I encouraged my parents to visit with them and they have puerchased two vehicles through Mr. Walt, a 2001 Aztec and a 2004 Vibe. At the time, it was a "hot car" and so there was a dealer surcharge, which they explained quite honestly. We told them we refused to pay it. We let them know we planned to buy a car that day, and if it meant taking our business elsewhere, we would. After a bit of haggling - which we expected to have to do - they dropped the surcharge completely. They still made out on the deal, but we payed thousands less than the sticker price. We got home and realized there were no floor mats. We called them back, and in exchange for all 5's on the customer survey from Honda (which we'd have given them anyway), they threw them in - plus two stainless steel travel mugs. Everybody was friendly, courteous, etc. Our kid was in the midst of the "terrible 2's" at the time, and they just rolled with the punches.<br><br>Service department runs like clockwork even when crowded, they explain every charge, they don't do work we don't authorize.<br><br>They recently expanded the showroom and service department. <br><br>We're in the market for a Pilot and will definitely head to Koons first.
