Door Lock Recall Service I took my CR-V in for a RECALL. The service dept was prompt and courteous. They installed the recalled part only to find out it was defective. So, I took my CR-V in for a RECALL. The service dept was prompt and courteous. They installed the recalled part only to find out it was defective. So, they gave me a loaner until they received a new part and were able to complete the recall. The only disappointment was that they did not clean up the glass where maybe some grease was left. Last chance Brought my Honda Fit in to service problem that generated the "check engine" light. 1st time was over $500 to "fix" the problem. Less than a mile aw Brought my Honda Fit in to service problem that generated the "check engine" light. 1st time was over $500 to "fix" the problem. Less than a mile away the light came back on. Brought the Fit back to address the "check engine" light issue, again. This time they wanted an additional $369.00 to adjust the valves. Really????? I declined this service as it was not certain that this would fx the problem. I cannot afford to support the experimentation and training for the Koons maintenance staff to guess why a light is continually on. To top ot all off, I raised my hood to top off fluids due to latest snow event ---- the rod that holds the hood up was broken off. I have no way to safely secure the hood in the raised position. When did this break? Why didn't the Koons staff advise of this as it was clearly something that occurred during my second service check.? So disappointed with this dealership. I have tried several times to use their service but each visit proves a dissatisfied customer experience and less than exceptional effort to amend the problem.. I am shopping for another Honda Maintenance Shop that will have an educated, trained staff with customer service skills and work ethics to match. To hide a broken hood support is very sad and unethical. It makes me wonder what else has been tampered with , broken, hidden??? I will trade convenience for good, honest, fair work on my vehicle. More
