My scheduled appointment was at 8 Am for repair of A/C compressor shaft steal leak. The car was dropped off at 7:59Am. Went to get my initial complimentary oil change at the service center for Honda of Valley stream. This was by appointment, made days prior. My car was processed in, and I waited nearly 3 hours, with no ex service center for Honda of Valley stream. This was by appointment, made days prior. My car was processed in, and I waited nearly 3 hours, with no explanations or updates at to the status of my car. Watched different people come, get serviced, and go, while I say twiddling my thumbs. Finally got fed up and made a fuss about my extended wait, in which I noticed that my vehicle was sitting in the service center parking lot the entire time. Never once did any of the staff let me know what was going on with my vehicle. Wasn't until I said something, that I witnessed someone finally come out and take my car to get serviced. Worst experience ever. Very unethical, unprofessional, unwarranted, and unnecessary. Thumbs down to these people... 2 thumbs down!!!! More

I told them the problem with my car & they said they checked car & it was fine. Sent me home with.car & the problem continues until I brought it to a local mechanic. Thank you for asking. Unfortunately, I waited almost 2 months for an appointment due to a recall/warranty extension I received in the mail in regards to the A/C unit. N Unfortunately, I waited almost 2 months for an appointment due to a recall/warranty extension I received in the mail in regards to the A/C unit. Needless to say it's been a hot summer ride. My appointment was set with knowledge of the recall for Friday Aug. 22nd and I brought my car in that morning. I received a call later in the day advising the parts needed were on back order and that I should pick up my car (again expense) and wait till the part arrived. I wonder why I would be told to come in, take a day off work and pay for an uber home if the part was not available. At this time I am waiting to hear back when the part will come in. I would like to say that your onsite staff and service assistant Briyanna were kind and courteous. This did not help with fixing the situation with my car. Perhaps you can focus more on the reason for appointment rather than making sure customers know there is possibility for a diagnosis test, especially when there has been a recall notice sent. It be nice to have an idea when the parts will be available. More
