I've now got two vehicles from hinshaw's neither of which cost anywhere near what a new Acura wood and yet they still treated me like I was buying a $60,000 car nor did they attempt any sales tactics whatsoever. Both my salesman Devin and the finance manager made it a pleasure to do business with them. Oh and they did all of this while providing the cleanest vehicle I could find in the area at the best price. More
Service Review Service Manager Kelly Stallcop was amazing, he turned a very bad experience into a smooth and refreshing experience. My wife brought our 06 Acura Service Manager Kelly Stallcop was amazing, he turned a very bad experience into a smooth and refreshing experience. My wife brought our 06 Acura TL into Hinshaw's Acura for service. The check engine light was on, it idled rough, and at one point in time put itself into "limp mode" while she was driving it. When she got to the dealership the person at the service desk greeted her, then once she said that she had a 06 Acura TL his whole attitude changed. The very next thing out of his mouth was that it was going to cost $130.00 per hour for labor. He didn't ask what was wrong, or the issue, however instantly stating the amount it'd cost in labor as if he couldn't pay for it. She felt embarrassed that he'd do that. However she stayed there to tell him what was going on and even produced diagnostic codes that were ran by the dealership that we bought the car from (who told us to take it to Acura after they figured out they couldn't fix the problem). He rejected the codes and said they were "general codes" and they couldn't use them. That they would need to run their own diagnostic check to verify what was wrong. Once again stating the cost for labor. My wife stated that we had an extended warranty for the car. He dismissed it by saying that it was just a general warranty and that since we didn't buy the car and the warranty from Acura itself that it wasn't valid. She left frustrated, embarrassed and very upset. After she called me to let me know what had happened I called the service department and asked to speak to the service manager. Kelly Stallcop (service manager) was very apologetic with how his employee handled the situation. After a few minutes of him reassuring me that that was not the way they handled situations and that his employee should have handled it better, we made arrangements for me to bring the car back over to the dealership. That he would handle our situation personally. We brought the car back over and Kelly was amazing. His level of customer service far exceeds any other that I've ever dealt with. He was very receptive of of the situation and took it upon himself to "make things right." He did just that. It's a shame that we had to start off with a bad experience to end up with a shining star. That is exactly what Kelly Stallcop is, a shinning star set above the rest. That you for turning a bad situation into a wonderful experience. Dave G. More

Sold me a ticking time bomb. A week ago I had a raving review for this dealership until yesterday when my car revved so high that my car nearly blew up in the middle of I-5! What A week ago I had a raving review for this dealership until yesterday when my car revved so high that my car nearly blew up in the middle of I-5! What a nightmare. The transmission sounded like it was slipping! After taking 2 days off from work and calling hinshaw 3 times and texting Devin - they finally responded with a message that basically read, YOURE SOL - TRY THE MINI DEALERSHIP. Basically, Hinshaw Acura have me a car that had signified that my oil needed to be changed in about 2 months and fluids were topped off... Until I found out today that my car ATE UP all of that oil because THEY PUT 530 CONVENTIONAL OIL IN A EUROPEAN (bmw) CAR! We will not be recommending and are very disappointed in this experience. More

Texting back and forth made buying the car a breeze and they both worked so hard to get us an amazing deal on a vehicle with the money that we had to work with! We will 100% be coming back to them when we need to replace my husbands car (hopefully sometime next year) and will be recommending both of them and your dealership to everyone we know who is looking for a car! I was treated so well by George and the rest of the staff, that I determined to return here when it was time to buy a new car. I have had a lot of experiences with dealerships over the years and never really liked any of them. From the moment I walked into Hinshaw's, it was a totally positive experience. Everyone was kind and polite. My son, who was with me, sought out David Ajibade as he had purchased vehicles through him previously. David was amazing, positive, polite, and he eventually got me the deal I needed on the car I wanted. I am thrilled with my 2009 Acura TL. I expect to always return to Hinshaw's, whether my vehicle needs service or I am in the market for a vehicle. Thank you so much, Hinshaw's staff!! More
