I live in SC but my purchase was from the Hendrick Northlake NC site. The taxes on my trade in vehicle was due the same month I bought my Lexus (September). Someone from the dealership called me and advised me to pay the taxes on my Murano and send them the receipt. Upon receiving the receipt, they would overnight my registration (they did overnight it). I received a notice in the mail from my local DMV/Tax office stating there was a problem with how it was handled, and I needed to come into the office to discuss. I had to take a day off work and ping pong between the tax office and the DMV. It was a very inconvenient and unpleasant experience for me. Other than that, my experience was great, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. More
