Bought a vehicle there. Not a good experience. High pressure on the warranties and other things post-sale. Got a bad trade in offer. Service center is slow. They improperly Not a good experience. High pressure on the warranties and other things post-sale. Got a bad trade in offer. Service center is slow. They improperly repaired our vehicle after a minor accident. Went in again to look for another vehicle and they low-balled a trade again (by as much as $5k) and tried to get me in vehicles I didn't want. I don't trust them. Go somewhere else. More
Gates Toyota I am a car consultant and people hire me to buy or sell their vehicles. I have been doing this for 45 years. My background is asset management. During my nationwide search for a Prius I cam to buy or sell their vehicles. I have been doing this for 45 years. My background is asset management. During my nationwide search for a Prius I came across one in South Bend Indiana. Our salesman was Mike Gray , a young man who went the extra 10 % to achiveve the sale. After I had the car inspected by Lemon Squad , I gave the report to Mike, ,which stated it was in need of new tires. With out hesitation he went and got approval for 4 new tires. I will always keep my eye on Mike as he travels through the car industry. Very wholesome and honest. More
Took my 2023 Corolla in 5000 mile service. The service department broke my front bumper then tried to hide it by just tucking my splash guards on the wrong side of one another. I get a call te The service department broke my front bumper then tried to hide it by just tucking my splash guards on the wrong side of one another. I get a call telling me that they will fix their damage if I pay 800 dollars. This is beyond deceitful. Gates has a horrible service manager who hung up on me. Extremely professional kind of response. Stay as far away from Gates as possible. Very deceitful people across-the-board. Buyer beware! More
If you want to be scammed, this is the place to go. They do not operate honestly and are more than eager to cheat you out of money and/or your vehicle. Go ANYWHERE else. Pushy sales team. Rude salesmanger. Lied to sell me the car. Sold me a car they were not legally allowed to. Did not seek the loan through the company I wanted, but in Rude salesmanger. Lied to sell me the car. Sold me a car they were not legally allowed to. Did not seek the loan through the company I wanted, but instead through themselves. The Toyota loan company is friendly, but will not help either. They will gaslight you and blame you for their problems. Even when presented with evidence, they still blamed me the customer. I will NEVER purchase from any Gates Dealership again. Horrible experience, wish I never went there. Worst car buying experience I have had in 30 years! More
They promised to let me know when the car is ready. they called and said it is al-ready. Sold. That was the extent of our conversation. they called and said it is al-ready. Sold. That was the extent of our conversation. More
Told me I needed a new alternator and serpentine belt. $1013.00 later, I pick up the car, drove it 3 miles home and the next day the battery was dead. Now I have to go through the whole ordeal again. T $1013.00 later, I pick up the car, drove it 3 miles home and the next day the battery was dead. Now I have to go through the whole ordeal again. The person I spoke with didn't know what was installed in the car. I had to wait a week to get it in to be checked out initially, I was supposed to be in Indy to see my grandson Friday, but I will have to be at the service center instead at 7am. I'm retired. I thought going to a Toyota dealership and service Center I would be getting the proper service for my vehicle. Now I have to charge the battery, which is new, and arrange transportation to get home and back to collect the vehicle. I don't imagine that will be a good scenario and I'll probably have to buy another $200 battery. Not happy at all. I normally have them do my oil service and filters. I have had problems with them over filling the oil and under inflating the tires. Up charge for extra oil! More
Service department is rough. They just gaslight you and try to get you to believe that the issue you're experiencing (that should be under warranty) isn't real. I will say the buying experience with Mer try to get you to believe that the issue you're experiencing (that should be under warranty) isn't real. I will say the buying experience with Mercedes was quite good. But now I'm stuck getting it serviced there, which is a nightmare. More
