My worst auto dealer ever experience I just had the worst car dealer experience I have ever had through my 20+ years of shopping and buying used and new cars. Walked in to Ford of Kirklan I just had the worst car dealer experience I have ever had through my 20+ years of shopping and buying used and new cars. Walked in to Ford of Kirkland shopping for an F-150 XLT new or certified pre-owned. The sales guy was not trying to sell me anything. In fact it almost felt like he was trying to get rid of me. The whole experience lasted for about 10 minutes of me trying to tell him what I am looking for and him trying to convince me how anything they have is above my budget (even though I told him my budget and that I was going to pay cash and not finance). He then told me to just go look over there if I can find any truck I like. I asked about the promotions I saw online as there were a couple of trucks I saw that I liked and his response was yeah most of the people come for those and then they don't have what they were looking for. I told him I saw two that have what I am looking for and have good discounts running on them but he wanted me to give him the stock number to show me those. That's when I was done and told him that I feel like you are just trying to get rid of me instead of selling anything. I also said that that might not be your intention but that is how I feel and I just wanted to let you know. He said he was sorry I felt that way but it was very clear from his body language and defensive reaction (telling me how he has good customer service for the two years he worked here and how they called him for a manager position) that he was not really sorry. I told him that I no longer want to do business with him and went to my car, sat down and wrote this review. Something about my look was telling this guy that there is no way I can can write him a 40+k check. More
Todd and Junior are awesome and very helpful. Very good and helpful dealership, they try to understand exactly what you need and work very hard to find a car that fits you best. Worst experience at a dealership Terrible experience Barry was dishonest. I drove two hours to look at a truck. I had an appointment to look at a truck and no one bothered to contact Terrible experience Barry was dishonest. I drove two hours to look at a truck. I had an appointment to look at a truck and no one bothered to contact me to tell me it was sold . Barry who I had been emailing for a week didn't tell me when I got to the dealership he said he was busy so he told me his friend would show me the truck his friend took me out to the trucks but said they had no trucks like the one I came to see he said could show me other trucks but had never seen the truck I wanted to look at. I went in and asked where the truck was no one seemed to know I asked if I could talk to Barry and they said Barry was hiding. A sales person finally helped me and said the truck was sold. Why couldn't they just be honest if it sold could Barry have just told me? Felt very strange and dishonest - trucks sell I would have been disappointed but I wouldn't have felt deceived. It was a horrible experience. I love Ford trucks I will shop in Olympia in the future these people give auto dealerships a bad name ! More

They we I researched from Seattle to Oak Harbor for the best deal on a new Explorer prior to being transferred to WA. FOK was the only one to nail it. They were super knowledgeable and helpful. Especially my salesman Jon Sweigert. Always available to answer my questions. Understanding of my situation and helping to meet my needs and what I wanted in a new car. Everyone was professional and gave service with a smile. I recommend and will return in the future when its time to upgrade. More

Great and quick experience at Ford Hyundia of Kirkland! Normally I hate buying and selling cars. I don't think I'm alone. With Ford of Kirkland I had a good experience. This was my second car to buy from Ford of Kirkland. I work and live in Kirkland so I was happy I was able to do business in the neighborhood. My sales rep Keith was honest and hard working. He got me into a used 2015 Explorer Sport. It was more car then I wanted but we were able to come to a fair price in my opinion. I also feel like I got a fair trade in value for my car. Only slightly below Kelley Blue Book. I recommend asking for Keith if you need a Ford. I can't speak for the other sales reps. RJ More
OH MY GOD! AMAZING!!!! SCOTT and RAY 5-STAR SERVICE! If you have ever dreaded walking into the dealership, prepared for the back and forth of a 5-hour purchase ordeal, then you know what we felt when we If you have ever dreaded walking into the dealership, prepared for the back and forth of a 5-hour purchase ordeal, then you know what we felt when we approached purchasing our next car. We visited several dealerships and were always disappointed (read: frustrated) with the long process of give and take between the finance guys and the sales person, only to find that 4-5 hours later, they could not meet our needs with the price or the car. Then, we visited Ford of Kirkland. NO PRESSURE SALES. NONE. Terrific service! They were so casual and laid back! Ray LaPlante tag-teamed with one of the other finance managers, named Scott, who gave us apples to apples pricing tips on each level of car that Ford makes. He asked us questions about what was important to us to find which one of the cars Ford makes that would best fit our needs. We needed lower gas mileage, lower payments and a smaller vehicle than the one we owned. Scott explained how we could get out from under the larger car, larger car payments and hidden costs of owning the one we were trading in with little or no problems. It turns out they work hand in hand with our bank, and gave us a great deal! We were totally expecting to trade in our old car, have a huge loan to pay off, and then be saddled with an even larger payment once we bought a used Ford... but no! We were so pleasantly surprised that Scott and Ray worked with our bank to pay off the previous loan. We also expected to buy a used Ford, because the payments would be lower. However, with some of the specials on new cars, Ray and Scott asked me if I would consider a new car, if we could get the payments to work out for our budget. IMAGINE THIS: What if the sales guys at a new (or used) car dealership were totally honest with you from the beginning. Rather than ask, "How much is a Ford Focus?" They asked what we needed, and then looked for the car that worked for us. But, there were no hidden costs. No hidden or unexplained fees. They let us test drive the car ourselves WITHOUT a salesperson yammering at us from the backseat. They told us up front how much the car cost, and it was exactly that price. NO-DICKER STICKER should be the name of the dealership. Any questions I had, Scott knew the answer, about the engine, about the upgrades, and about the safety of the car. (Important as parents of a new driver.) We were stunned. Flabbergasted. Amazed. We had NEVER visited a car dealership that had HONEST sales people, UP-Front finance guys and a process that was simple and straight forward. We will never darken the door of any other dealer. I wish I had a sky-writer to tell everyone in the Seattle area about Ford of Kirkland. As I waited for my husband to arrive from work to see the car, and drive it, I read the awards that were hung up in the hallway. This dealership has a running record of top sales, top service, Ford President's Awards, and volumes sales that fewer than 10% of all Ford dealerships in the country attain. The more I looked, the more it seemed that I had found a dealership like no other in the area. Believe me, we have put a lot of miles on our old car, going place to place to look at cars. Everyone else pressured me to get more car than we could afford. All of the other dealers wasted our time going back and forth with one loan after the next, even when we told the OTHER dealerships that we didn't want their financing, we had our own. Ray even remembered me from a conversation we had over a year ago. That was also impressive. I have owned a Chevy Cavalier, a Nissan Sentra, a Toyota Carolla, a VW 1969 Beetle, a Saturn Relay Van, and a Cadillac Escalade ESV, As you can see, we have been through a lot of cars, and dealerships. I cannot say enough about Ford of Kirkland's whole process. I never imagined that car dealers would be honest and upfront with the customer, and it was frankly a breath of fresh air, and we will be back!!! We will be back with friends as soon as possible! More
