Other dealerships I had contacted all tried to talk me into another, higher priced truck. Ron went out and brought the one I was looking for in and had it ready to go when I came back. He was patient as we took test drives and time to decide what we wanted to do. After the purchase he took more time to help me with some of the truck's features and explained how we can take advantage of them. We will absolutely return to Ford of Kirkland when it comes time to make another vehicle purchase. More

Happiness depends on what work you want done. Ford of Kirkland sells bigger (f250/F350) and more modified trucks (SCA with 4" Fabtech lifts), On my most recent visit to service for an oil change that I had scheduled via the online scheduler, The service manager that I spoke to asked me what I was in for. I said an "oil change and can you look at the alignment? is seems a smidge off". I got two interesting pieces of information at that point. First, he said next time I should call and not use the online tool, it created the appointment but didn't give him any detail of why I was there so I had been placed into the "repair" queue instead of the quick lube queue. He took care of that no problem. I was going to wait for the truck, they have a nice area with wifi for you to work in. The second piece of information I got was that he said he could n't work on the alignment because the truck didn't fit their equipment. To be clear, he didn't refuse to service the vehicle, he just said HE couldn't do it there because it was "lifted and stuff" and he asked where I had the work done. I replied that they did it, I bought it that way. He paused then said, "Sales did the work". At this point, it because clear to me that while they share a company name, Sales and Service are NOT the same group and aren't always in alignment on things. Clearly, the Sales team is doing their best to sell products to customers but they are doing it without considering if that product can actually be serviced at that service location. Again, the service manager would have taken the vehicle to have the alignment checked. but it would have been a multi-day thing. I got my truck back from Oils change in a little less than 90 minutes which was fine. But the reason they got 3 stars is that somehow the addition of tires by the sales team precludes me from getting certain kinds of work done. That's just a badly thought out business plan and customer service model More

My wife and I attempted to purchase a new Fiesta from Ford of Kirkland in response to an advertised price listed on the dealer's website. It took two weeks to get written documentation of the price and that price exceeded the advertised price by $1500.00. The sales person Peter and Sales Manager Rich Ewing failed to return calls and text messages repeatedly during the two weeks we tried to get the price documented. The Sales Manager verbally agreed to the advertised price of $14,975.00 during a phone call with wife and me, only to produce a Sales Contract increasing the price by $1500.00 a week later. The sales contract was supposed to be overnighted to us but, didn't arrive for two days. I had already flown to Seattle and my wife had to convey the higher price to me by text. When I called Rich Ewing to discuss the reason for the higher price, his response was: "if you don't like the deal don't do it!" I hung up the phone and proceeded to buy the vehicle from Ford of Lakewood, a dealership that produced a written contract in less than 24 hours and was transparent and open in their dealings from beginning to end!
