BMW Car Fax Review: Fields BMW was very thorough with only charging me the $99.00 Inspection Fee. I purchased this car from Fields BMW in 2012. The car has been through a lot with a couple accidents and only charging me the $99.00 Inspection Fee. I purchased this car from Fields BMW in 2012. The car has been through a lot with a couple accidents and neighbors backing into it on 2 - 3 different occasions. The car was stalling out, so I brought it in for a checkup. Fields did a great job in repairing the starter motor $800.58. Crank shaft Sensor $180.92, $29.64 2 rear brake light bulbs, belt tensioner pulley & belts & torx screw $281.54. Breather Vent Hose $97.49 & Replace the Radiator Hose Clamp & Venting Line $78.10. Total Parts =$1498.33 +Labor & Tax $1655.00 =$3153.33. Now I'm leaving and I see the Brake Fluid light is on after all the other repairs and I wondered why this wasn't suggested to be fixed after all they had my car for 6 days. So, I decided to get the brake flush =$102.34. Grand Total $3,255.67. Arie did a great job helping me and the manager Brian D. gave me a $100.00 Manager's Special off the repair bill & a jelly of the month club award for the best customer of the year. Keep up the good work and if you want to buy my car for $7000.00 it's all yours not the $1000.00 that you told me after I paid my bill. I’m so grateful now this is all under warranty should I decide to sell my car. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! P.S. My favorite flavor of jelly is strawberry. More
“You should swallow your pride, and buy it from them”… those were the words of their GSM, well I did David… A candid review; having been in and around the auto business- I’m genuinely perplexed how 1) any those were the words of their GSM, well I did David… A candid review; having been in and around the auto business- I’m genuinely perplexed how 1) anyone buys a car here and 2) how BMW USA has allowed fields such a monopoly in the Central Florida area. I came in with my fiancée and we drove a vehicle, the salesperson was knowledgeable and overall friendly. No issues with him. I expressed upfront that I was shopping a similar model at BMW of Tampa; I asked that prior to us writing any pencils that his GSM come out and speak with me- that way we could get to the point without the back and forth. That is when it all went south. I shared with David Bills, GSM all of the information… in a friendly and light manner. Once I showed him BMW of Tampas worksheet, his demeanor was one of arrogance. I can respect not wanting to be competitive and choosing to not negotiate terms, but I’d offer that you could’ve chosen different words than, “If I were you, I’d swallow my pride and buy it from them”. Not sure what training you’ve had or Fields provides, but not really setting the bar for a customer forward experience…. So allow me to share what I’d say. “Mr. Customer, I have to say that is an incredible deal that they’re offering you. I don’t think that we’d be able to match it, that said we’d love to earn your business, but if price is your only deciding factor, I would give strong consideration to their offer so you don’t miss out on it… however if buying local and service are important to you, I’d love to see what we can do” At least you actually don’t display arrogance that way and in a polite way you “broom” the customer.
