Bojan was great, not pushy, very knowledgeable, and took me for a test drive, without clouding the experience with a hard sales pitch. He took his time and I'd recommend him. me for a test drive, without clouding the experience with a hard sales pitch. He took his time and I'd recommend him. More
So I wrote a review about some issues that i had had with my experience leasing a Fiat from this dealership. After leaving a less than perfect review my saleswoman Keisha called me within 24 hours to ask wh my experience leasing a Fiat from this dealership. After leaving a less than perfect review my saleswoman Keisha called me within 24 hours to ask what was wrong with my experience (FYI, I am paying $251 per month for a 42 month lease with 10K per year mileage and $1,016 down which included $199/mo $525 "Bank Fee" and $292.50 DMV registration). I explained to her some of the aspects of the deal that I didn't understand and she took over an hour on the phone with me to go over the details of exactly what I was paying and why, which is a lot of time for a salesperson to stay on a call when they aren't making a sale from it. More importantly, the $99 parking deal is only for the first 12 months but Keisha promised me she would not only do her best to ensure that i could get it for 24 months or relocate me to another nearby parking lot participating in the deal, she signed it into the contract as well. I appreciate the level of detail and concern, especially from a saleswoman who has recently started and spent 2.5 hours with me after the dealership officially closed as well as the hour on the phone today. I'm usually apprehensive about car dealers and do my homework before entering one. I arrived knowing what car I wanted and what incentives were available. Katherine P. was very straightforward, informat homework before entering one. I arrived knowing what car I wanted and what incentives were available. Came to Fiat of manhattan to get a Pop. Got a great deal and can't be happier. On top of the deal they threw a $99/mo parking in Manhattan! What's not to like! and can't be happier. On top of the deal they threw a $99/mo parking in Manhattan! What's not to like! More
My experience buying my first new car at FIAT of Manhattan was better than I could have image. I came in Angela showed me the ABARTH then we took an awesome test drive up the west side hwy and back. Manhattan was better than I could have image. I came in Angela showed me the ABARTH then we took an awesome test drive up the west side hwy and back. She really let me enjoy the car on the test drive as she quoted “after you drive this you are going to buy the ABARTH”. So Angela and Caleb worked out some numbers for me which didn’t take too long and something I was willing to pay monthly and down. I wanted to take care of two more things before buying the car that day so they held me deal for the next day and week later I picked up my New 500 ABARTH washed and ready to go. Angela had my Navigation already paired for me then we sat in the car paired my phone and she showed me one last time how to operate everything. Also FIAT of Manhattan has this awesome parking deal which was another reason to buy from them since I drive to work 5 days week, in my neighborhood for a small car you could find parking but why deal with that when for $99/Month your NEW car can be inside and not scratched up. That in its self has been great as well it’s close to my apartment, the cross street is next to the road that takes me to the bridge and the best thing is I can text the garage in the morning when I get up to have the car down for me so I don’t have to wait. Having a car in Manhattan is a luxury and FIAT of Manhattan (Angela and Caleb and the Parking Company) took care of my buying needs and wants without any pressure as well as making it feel like a luxurious experience. I suggest anyone in the area that likes to see your hard earn money worth spending see this guys. More
Overall poor experience. I came in after work to take a first look at the car. I told them I would not be buying a car that day. They were extremely high pressure and would not let me leave, stating that I first look at the car. I told them I would not be buying a car that day. They were extremely high pressure and would not let me leave, stating that I they took me out for a test drive and it was messed up to walk out without talking to the manager. Finally I just got up and told them I'd had enough at walked out of the place. More
My experience at FIAT of Manhattan was exceptional. They truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. I had just moved to New York and made their lives difficult with my scheduling and tight b truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process. I had just moved to New York and made their lives difficult with my scheduling and tight budget but they were accommodating throughout the entire process. Not only did Caleb and his team find the car for me and within my budget, but they also took the time to help me get comfortable with the area and recommended some places for me and my family to go on the weekends. Ultimately, i have the car I want at a fair price! Two thumbs up for FIAT of Manhattan More
My wife and I decided we wanted a Fiat and did all the leg-work ahead of our visit to the Manhattan dealership. We knew exactly we wanted and were expecting to order the exact model and trim, specific col leg-work ahead of our visit to the Manhattan dealership. We knew exactly we wanted and were expecting to order the exact model and trim, specific colors, etc. upon completion of a test-drive. After visiting the website and doing all our homework, we knew exactly how much the base model should cost including a downpayment of $999 as advertised on the site, taxes at 8.875%, a $700 destination charge (now $800), $199 monthly payments, etc. Upon completing the test-drive, we were perfectly impressed with the capabilities and handling of the car and were ready for some hard numbers. This is where the swindling began. First the salesman, whose name we forgot but who was just starting a position that same day, gathered our order and went to 'talk to his manager'. Maybe he didn't know the pricing, maybe he did, but when a car dealer breaks to confer with his/her manager, I expect the negotiations to begin. Sure enough, the manager/master-swindler Caleb Dennis scribbled a few illegible numbers down on paper and, after a calculated period of discomfort, sent them along with his salesman. We were overcome with disappointment at what WAS legible and frightened to learn the other numbers. In the end, it was around $100 more a month than we found on the Fiat website, not including the $99/month parking deal, which wasn't even mentioned. The "downpayment", a collection of random fees and charges, was around $2000 more than we were expecting, and other improvised numbers weren't quite explained. After I brought the fact that I was aware of the internet deal to the attention of the salesman, he again went to 'talk to his manager' who was sitting in plain sight of us. He came back with the same deal and some uncertain excuses. I decided to cut out the middle man and talk face to face with Caleb, who went on to give us all kinds of reasons that the numbers were what they were, while refusing to answer any of our questions definitively. In the end, as far as we could tell, even after all his explanations, there was around $1,200 unaccounted for. And around that much accounted for unfairly. In the end, he agreed to give us the website deal, but only because we were listing those terms loudly for other potential customers on the floor to hear. And, according to the few legitimate reviews on these pages, he would have screwed us anyway. So we spent a few extra bucks and about an hour of out time to get exactly what we wanted from the professionals at the Westbury studio. Debra helped us and offered no surprises, but listed all fees and costs as they actually are in reality. We STRONGLY recommend that anyone considering purchasing a Fiat take the time to be treated right instead of being swindled in Manhattan. More
