I decided to look into leasing a Pop after hearing this dealer's commercial on the radio about the $99/month lease and the $99/month parking in Manhattan. Since I already have another car and was already p dealer's commercial on the radio about the $99/month lease and the $99/month parking in Manhattan. Since I already have another car and was already paying for a parking space in Manhattan, I wasn't desperate for the car. Figured the savings in gas and parking was worth checking out. I spoke to Caleb a couple of days before I was able to make it into the studio, he was helpful enough on the phone to actually get me into the studio. When I got there on Saturday afternoon, I was set up with Angela. Within 20 minutes I was test driving the car. After a hour or so, we worked out the numbers and I was on my way to getting a new Fiat. Unfortunately because I needed an automatic, they didn't have the color that I was interested in. By Friday, they were able to locate one of my color choices from another dealer. I went back into the studio on Friday evening to finalize all the paperwork and pick up the car...but the car wasn't there. It was a bit frustrating to have been there for almost 2 hours to fill out paperwork and still leave without a car. Granted it wasn't their fault the other dealership wasn't able to deliver the car as promised. Both Angela and Caleb were extremely helpful and friendly. More
This is without a doubt the worst car dealership I have ever been to. My wife and I made an appointment for 6:30pm on a Monday night with Angela. My wife arrived around 10 minutes early. I arrived at 6:35pm, went to the front desk and was told Angela was with a customer but should be done shortly. So we started to wait. No one approached us for a solid 30 minutes. No one offered us coffee or water. There was no music playing. It was awful. After 30 minutes my wife talked to the receptionist, who again said Angela was with a customer and would be done shortly. A little bit after that, the General Manager told us he was sorry for the wait and that Angela would be with us shortly. A few minutes later Angela told us she was sorry for the wait and would be with us shortly. After an hour, I spoke to the General Manager and asked if we could see someone else, as there was one other sales person doing nothing and another finishing up. He said we had to see Angela as that is who we were assigned to but he would talk to her. The only reason for that is when I called to make the appointment, the receptionist gave me Angela. Otherwise, I was not vested in Angela. At that point I had to leave and go back to work. My wife remained. I came back after an hour, at 8:30pm. My wife was still waiting. It had now been 2 hours. My wife overheard one of the free sales people saying he hated when people came in at 8:30pm because the process takes so long. Sure enough, a couple came in at 8:45pm, walked up to the receptionist, said they had an appointment and were taken out for a test drive within 2 minutes. At this point my wife and I flipped out. We had been waiting for 2 hours and 15 minutes, had repeatedly asked for help and had repeatedly been ignored. We asked what the hell was going on and finally one of the other sales people agreed to help us. At this point we were fuming but started to calm down. As we were going to see the cars they had available for lease, we mentioned the ad we had seen on TV that said they were offering parking and the lease for $149/month total, nothing down. I had asked Angela about this deal when I made the appointment earlier in the day and she confirmed that it was legit, both over the phone and via email. I confirmed it with her again when we were at the dealership. Then, as we walked out to see the cars, and I asked this other sales person about the deal, she said it was only for the first 3 months, thereafter it was $249/month. At this point I had had it. We stormed out and gave Angela a piece of our mind. All in all the customer experience was the worst I had ever experienced at any store. If they had just been honest with us initially on the deal, we may still have done it. If they had told us that we should come back the next day after we arrived, we may have come back the next day. I have taken my car twice to this dealership for service. The first time they kept my car for 5 days, after going back 3 other times to report the issue. (the car was less than 3 months old) without being able to locate a noise that started right after it took the car in for a simply oil change. I had to physically open the hood myself and show them what the problem was and where it was coming from. It was on the fifth day that they realized all they needed to adjust was the engine cover. The second time I took the car for a service recall, Scott Caruso never called me to tell me my car was ready to be picked up nor what had been found wrong with my navigation system. I only found out the car was ready after multiple calls to the dealership and found out about the navigation system when reading my receipt. When I reported the issue with the service manager, Mark Rivera, he was very rude and didn’t even apologize for the poor service. He has no idea how to deal with customers and his poor management skills are reflected by his subordinates. Stay away from this dealership unless you want crappy service and incompetent people messing with your car. On the other hand, I highly recommend the sales department, starting with Angela, Kaleb and Sonia. More
This dealer tried to rip us off for $5,000 to make a switch from a new (never titled, never registered and never driven even 1 inch) 500 for an upgraded model, claiming they would have to sell the car a switch from a new (never titled, never registered and never driven even 1 inch) 500 for an upgraded model, claiming they would have to sell the car as "used." After research with another dealer, we discovered their representation that the car would be considered as used was completely bogus; they would have sold it as a new car, after ripping us off for $5,000. It says something about their basic integrity. More
