Very Impressed The other day my Girlfriend and I Went to Darlings in Augusta. We did not know what to expect. We walked inside and talked to a gentleman named Jon Gr The other day my Girlfriend and I Went to Darlings in Augusta. We did not know what to expect. We walked inside and talked to a gentleman named Jon Grant. We tolled him what we were looking for and what we could afford a month and he directed us to a few options. After test driving a 07 Toyota Camery we fell in love with it. Jon walked us through the paper work and waited for the bank to respond. ( we were denied for being to young and not enough credit) although we did not make a deal I was very happy with the way Jon Grant ( sales Representative) talked to us and treated us. He treated us like human beings and showed that he really cared about the situation we were in. Because of Jon Grant we have decided when our Credit is improved and we are able to qualify for a car we will be going back to Darlings Hyundai in Augusta and will be asking for Jon Personally. Thank you so much! More

Great Service Needs Some Tweaking Had my Sonata serviced this month. Everyone was nice and friendly and explained what I should have done for additional service and why. My only complaint is they do not offer you a quote of what it will cost, they don't provide you with the estimated time it will take to complete the work and the waiting room was dirty and uncomfortable. Dust and dirt on surfaces, tables needed to be washed due to having drink and food grime on them from previous visits. My visit was first thing that morning so this was from days prior visits. The chairs were very uncomfortable and need to be replaced. More
Best Car buying experience ever!! This past week I received a 19 minute proposal letter from Darlings. I woke up this morning (Saturday) and decided I would check it out. This first thing I did was call the Hyundai Dealership in Augusta to see if I would qualify. I spoke with Tim Hachey. I explained to him that I may be interested in purchasing a new vehicle but did not have time to spend at the dealership. Tim took all my information. He knew what type of vehicle I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend. He connected me with Jim Ropella who is the Finance King. I had previously bought my last vehicle at Darlings with Jim doing the financing. He taught me many things about how to improve credit and the best things to do when trading in. I was approved for credit before In entered the showroom. My interest rate dropped 4 points. Thanks Jim. Also, Tim Hachey was awesome. It was a very busy Saturday morning at the dealership. He spent the time to explain in detail the bells and whistles of a new vehicle and was patient with me when I asked questions. i was in and out of the dealership in about an hour. I have always hated purchasing vehicles in the past as the waiting was so painful. This was a pleasant experience. I would recommend Darlings. I am now the proud owner of a 2015 Hyundai Tucson that will take whatever Maine weather throws. Thanks Tim and Jim. You make a great team. More

He not only found the used Dodge AWD Charger we were looking for, but he found one that was more Charger than we ever imagined owning...and red!!! There was no pressure, a super friendly & down to earth atmosphere and no nonsense price negotiations. My husband and I have never had such an amazing and stress free experience purchasing a car as we did working with Jim Davis and Jim Ropella - who helped wrap up the deal with the paperwork. Despite the late hour, they didn't rush us through the process and answered any questions we had. When we left with our "new" car, we were so excited and NOT stressed out from the deal process. That was a new experience for us!!! We will not hesitate to recommend or turn to Jim again when it comes to a future car purchase. More

He talked to another person who washes the cars and he buffed out the scratches after my service was done. Forceful Sales Team Out of Touch with Buyers Last Friday, I visited Darling's in Augusta. I found the perfect Buick Enclave that I HAD to have. On Saturday, I bought my new car from Charlie's Toy Last Friday, I visited Darling's in Augusta. I found the perfect Buick Enclave that I HAD to have. On Saturday, I bought my new car from Charlie's Toyota. Not only was the Buick overpriced by $5,000 for the year and trim level, but then there forceful sales manager decided to push why I had to pay there price if I wanted their Buick. They clearly are out of touch with buyers this day in age. We don't want to be sold on your overpriced mega profits. We want to make an educated buying decision. The unfortunate thing is that Charlie's is enjoying my $24,000 when Darling's could have. Now they still have that same Buick they have had since October 2014. Watch out for this shiesters!!! More
