He took the time to listen to what I was looking for in a vehicle and then proceeded to give me a thorough overview of the vehicles he had available that would fit my needs. It was in no way a stressful situation and I never felt pressured. After test driving some vehicles at Darling's and a few more elsewhere, I decided to purchase from Darling's. The price was great and the level of service here is well beyond any other dealership I've visited. The paperwork process with Steve was quick and painless and the vehicle was waiting in spotless condition when we were done. Well done all around!! More

Oil change, Tire rotation, State Inspection Again another great experience. Went in for my usual service, they were very busy in the service dept. Lance gave me his vehicle to use, I was out doing errands and was having some trouble with the key fob. Called Lance, he came right over to where I was. (Still not sure what I was doing wrong cause every time he got in the vehicle it worked fine, he would get out, I would get in and it wouldn't do the same things for me. I obviously had a black cloud over me, Lance was definitely the sunshine.) He swapped vehicles with me and I continued on my way. I know I have said it before, but the customer service here is top notch! I will NEVER buy another vehicle anywhere else! You guys are the best in the business! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know most of these people on a first name basis, and they know me. The only name I really always have a hard time remembering is the guy who washes the vehicles. He always treats my car perfectly, he hand washes it and dry's it, not to mention vacuum's it out before I get it back. I missed Gary Mitchell this trip. He always makes sure things are good with me and my service I am receiving. Thanks again for all you do! More

I first contacted the dealer who had the vehicle which was in Ellsworth, they I was connected to the dealership in Augusta which was more convenient for me. I was in touch within a couple of days with Jim & Tim Hachey. They had the vehicle shipped to Augusta from Ellsworth within a couple of days, I looked at it on Friday and took it for a drive, I fell in love with it. Came back on Saturday with the hubby and we all talked figures again, I drove it home Saturday I would highly recommend Darlings. Everyone there was super. . More

A Good Experience - No Hard-Sell I was pleased to work with Tim Hachey and Nate Marquis. Tim knows cars and got us several discounts and a good deal. Nate was not pushy or insulting. When I said I did not want to do a loan, he did not keep at me (as another dealership did). He did try to sell us a few products but was within reasonable limits as far as salesmanship was concerned. Not too pushy and citing evidence rather than opinion as to why something might be a good deal. We bought the rust resistant undercoating after checking with our car guy who told us he sees a lot of vehicles with chassis erosion due to winter road applications. We did not opt for the extended warranty despite Nate's willingness to come down on the price significantly. This was a completely different experience than the purchase of our last new vehicle in 2005. I was impressed that there was none of the offensive stuff. As for my Hyundai Sonata - so far I love it. It is spacious, pretty, quick to respond, and a very nice ride for a very good price. More
