Oil change, recall work, 60000 mile break check I brought my car in for an Oil Change, the 60000 mile break check, and there was a recall they took care of. It did take longer than they stated, but not to bad. After the work was done, I left and went across town to get some things. I smelled something hot, but figured it was just oil on the engine that was burning off. When I stopped at a light, I noticed some smoke coming from the hood. Again I thought it was a vehicle next to me, so when I got to my destination, I parked where no one else was. Sure enough it was my car. I got out and opened the hood, to watch all the oil pouring out onto the ground. I immediately called back, and shut the car off. They sent the Courtesy van to get me, but my daughter was now on her way. I gave the keys to the van driver and continued doing what I needed to do. When I got back, I went to Darlings to get a rental, as it is now late in the afternoon and I have to work that night. The next day, I called and Jana said it was a faulty o-ring on the Oil filter, they had towed the car, rechanged the oil, and cleaned all the oil off the car. Now I know that most people would have been extremely mad, and I am not saying I wasn't somewhat angry. But when I found out it was a faulty part, and not someone forgetting to do something correctly, I felt better. I spoke with Lance and Jason when I came back to get my car, and they as usual were great. I can't say enough about this dealership, they are the best in the business! The staff worked with me to remedy the situation and for that I am grateful. Thank you again for taking care of your customers after the sale! More

Nick Moody is the best! Not too keen on the dealership My husband and I visited the Augusta Darling's today and were greeted by probably one of the best salesmen we've ever encountered. We loved his enthus My husband and I visited the Augusta Darling's today and were greeted by probably one of the best salesmen we've ever encountered. We loved his enthusiasm and hard work to place us in the deal of our dreams. As a salesman, Nick Moody, would get 5 stars all day, every day and we would love to work with him if he was not at this dealership. We came down because of the incentives we read about online which were marked under the "Manufacturer Offer". This happened to be towards the bottom after the vehicles description on the page I selected for the Hyundia Tucson I was very interested in. The car was marked down to a "Darling's Price" which was an awesome deal but also had what I, an average folk, thought was a "2000 dollar back incentive" because of the manufacturer offer that was found on the Darling's website on the cars page. It also had a "Financing offer: 0.0% interest rate...." under the manufacturer offer on this same page which I, again, as an average folk, would have thought would be applied with the buy. However, the guy we were talking money with, Steve, made it very apparent I was misunderstanding the website. I'm still baffled by the encounter I had with him about the Darling's website and am truly discouraged to ever go back or recommend them to anyone. I did my homework and found the car of my dreams with the price I was more than willing to pay thanks to what I thought would be the included offers because they say manufacturer offers. Apparently (per Steve) what it says under their manufacturer offer was already included in the price I saw for the "Darling's Price". When I asked again about the offers, Steve said you only get one deal or the other. Be careful what you read on their website because it can be very misleading and in my case caused a 77 mile trip to be for nothing and left me to come home empty handed. I also understand what I was trying to make happen was a hard deal but had the "Manufacturer Offer" been something that was true I would be in that new car right now. For future reference to looking buyers, Steve did try to get me in to a "newer" used Subaru but the numbers I got from Charlie's for a brand new Subaru was better than Steve could offer. Charlie's was more willing to work with me and also offered me a better trade in value for my car. Make sure to shop around but be careful when you do your homework and call ahead about the "Manufacturer Offer" so you understand them completely and don't waste their time, your time or anyone's money.
