When I brought my car in for an oil change and replace a bulb the service person came back and told me that they couldn't do it as the plug/bolt was stripped or something and I would need a new oil pan that bulb the service person came back and told me that they couldn't do it as the plug/bolt was stripped or something and I would need a new oil pan that would cost approx $700. I did get the bulb changed but decided to bring my car to my local mechanic. The plug was replaced and my oil changed with no problem with the oil pan. My mechanic also noted that whoever changed the bulb didn't secure the cover for it. I was out of there with the cost of an oil change. This is why I'm leery to bring my older car to the dealership for service. More
