Had my rear brake pads replaced April 2023($500) was told didn’t need rotors because they were fine. February 2024 brought vehicle in because the brakes were grinding in reverse. Played the video with then l didn’t need rotors because they were fine. February 2024 brought vehicle in because the brakes were grinding in reverse. Played the video with then loud noise. They said they couldn’t duplicate, mentioned rust on the rotor and said you’ll be fine. 6 weeks later, “service brake system” warning. Brought the vehicle in and was told need pads and rotors for $850. Even though they were just done a year ago I was told “I don’t know why they didn’t replace the rotors too, we don’t do just pads and that that tech is no longer with us.” Obviously they did just replace only the pads. Offered $100 off. Did not perform the service, will be taking my vehicle elsewhere going forward. Additionally, on a prior visit, scratched my door and tried to fix by buffing it out and now I have clear coat damage. More
They seem so focused on sales and efficiency of pushing parts they don’t pay any attention at all to how many trips the customer has to make to get anything resolved.
