Mirak Chevrolet is now owned by McGovern, but the service personnel seem to be the same. I recently took my 2025 equinox EV for some technical service bulletin work. I had tried to get this done at another dealership and was treated very badly. I want to say that I was treated very well at McGovern and told them so. The experience was so much better. Previously had been regretting my purchase of a Chevrolet vehicle, but now I feel more secure.

I've had a few other repairs in the interim. The workmanship has been excellent, ready when promised, and for small jobs I've been able to work in the waiting area while they took care of it. I had brought my car to my micanic for an oil change and told him about a recall I received for the Rear Crossmember he would not touch my car except to check that out. I called Tom Chevrolet and made the apointment. When I picked it up they said it was fine and put a coating on it. I then brought the car back to my micanic and they told me they didn't do anything and the rear cross member was all rusted and they only had coated what you could see by looking at it. I then call Chris and brought the car back to the dealership. I called the next day and Chris said it was just rusted, I said that is the same as corroded and he said no it was not. So we went back and forth for about 15 minutes. Then he tells me they used a machine to punch into the bar to test it. So I said, now is rusting out with punch holes in it and that just makes it worse. He kept say no and he's not changing it and I can do what ever I need to and call whom ever I want but he's not changing it. I can take it to another dealership. I have bought my last two cars there and 3 of my girlfriend also did. We will never do anything with them again. Every since they changed hands they are so aweful.

This is a dealer who knows how to treat a customer right. Good service, great parts department, and a sales department that is friendly and fair to its customers. They offered me more money for my trade-in than any other dealer recently. Too bad GM is such a mess.

Trying to make an appointment at this dealership is difficult and annoying. Their automated attendant is useless and you can rarely get a real person on the phone to help you, and when you do, they forward you to a "scheduling coordinator" and you get their voice mail. I very much enjoy Hyundai Palisade and would recommend it, but I do not recommend this service center. I should not be this hard to schedule an appointment.
