Thank you Tiera for entrusting Casey BMW with the replacement of the radiator blinds on your vehicle. We always like helping new customers moving into the area. Radiator blinds are part of the front portion of the grill and are not connected to the radiator in any way. It was great that we could give you all new parts at no charge under your warranty for these. We understand that after visiting our dealership, and driving for several hundred miles, a routine maintenance problem occurred with a radiator hose on the vehicle. This particular standard maintenance item is not covered under warranty, and we understand that this is a bill you may not have been prepared for. We have been in business as a company for almost 70 years. Casey cannot remain in the customer service business if we do not handle customer repairs in the most ethical way. Although both parts have radiator in their name, they are not even remotely close to each other. In reviewing your car records, we also reached out to the shop you have now taken the car to and they have also verified that this was a routine maintenance issue. As inconvenient as this repair is, we are confident that our technicians performed the repair to your blinds successfully and that no damage was made to any other part of your vehicle.
