Exceptional service I was hesitant to use Carvana because I didn’t know much about the company or the process. However, I’m so glad I decided to use them. It was the easiest car-selling experience I’ve ever had! The representative that helped me through the phases was always available and answered all of my questions. It took less than a week, from first contact to picking up my car, and was the most efficient way I’ve ever sold a car. I had a certified check in my hand the day they picked up my car. Failed to live up to promises. I was VERY VERY disappointed with my experience with Carvana. I was buying a Honda CR-V. On the website, the car was shown to be in excellent condition. Carvana promises to show any "imperfections" by way of photos. The car I was buying showed no imperfections with the photo tour. The car seemed perfect for me with all the amenities that I wanted. I started the process to purchase the car using an outside lender due to Carvana's interest rates being high. Trying to work out the details became laborious due to the fact that to speak with anyone at Carvana you must call their main number and wait, seems like forever, to be helped. Then came the day to pick up my new (to me) car. I went to their vending machine in Tempe and saw the car for the first time. Immediately I saw that there were numerous paint chips on the front part of the car. I mentioned to the Carvana representative that these were not disclosed on the Carvana website. I also noted that the front windshield was cracked. Again, not disclosed. The representative spoke with his manager and agreed with me that these imperfections were not shown on the website, so he said they would arrange to have the windshield replaced and would send me a small check to compensate for the paint chips. I agreed and took the vehicle home. The next day, while driving at slow speeds, I noticed a shudder in the transmission. The shudder became pronounced at really slow speeds. Carvana told me to take the car to a certified shop for diagnosis. I did and was then told by Carvana to work with their warranty company Silver Rock to get the transmission fixed. The shop checked out the transmission and recommended a procedure to hopefully fix the problem. Silver Rock disagreed and told the shop what Silver Rock wanted the shop to do. The shop did that and it did not fix the problem. Silver Rock then stated they would send out an adjuster to look at vehicle and if the shop needed any parts, Silver Rock would provide them. When I was informed of this, keeping in mind I only had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep the car, I told Carvana to come take the car back. Totally unacceptable. Anyway, the car was returned and I see it is now back up on Carvana's website, still not showing any imperfections on the car. Some unlucky person is going to get this same car and possibly go through what I went through. I generously gave Carvana 2 stars only because the people that I worked with at Carvana, for the most part, were very helpful. Especially Taylor and Bryce. It is a shame that this relatively new business to our area is not performing as they promise to do on their advertisements. More

The pricing is better than the "standard" dealers, and the selection of Ford Fusion hybrids was better than I could find elsewhere. The highlight of the experience is the customer interaction - via calls, emails, and web chat, the "advocates" do a good job understanding and helping resolve issues. The biggest improvement I suggest is having more transparency in the registration/title fees - my fees were greater than if I would have been doing it myself, and the advocates could not explain the breakdown (they did offer me an adjustment to help offset the difference, which was nice). I scheduled my delivery on the Friday I knew I would be home (I travel for work), but they missed that day. They scheduled for the following Monday (I was fortunately home that week for work), but they actually had a glitch and delivered the car on Tuesday. The local office was good at communicating the delays on Monday/Tuesday, and offered me compensation for the trouble. The car was delivered and was what I expected, although it had a few more minor scratches than were in the photos (I assume from the handling/delivery - the repair team did make a price adjustment when I brought this up). The process is very good overall, the company builds trust with the test drive, and the value is great. Cody, the rep I have been interacting with in the local St. Louis office has gone up and beyond anything I could have imagined. He worked to re-order floor mats that fit in the fastener after the first set arrived with the wrong size connection. I have been recommending the company to others, and will use them again! More

I selected the van, completed the process in a very efficient manner and with the confidence that comes with all of extra steps and guarantees to ensure I was completely satisfied with my purchase - even after it was delivered to my home! The van came just as I had expected and in the condition, I was expecting, registered and temp tag applied. This was absolutely wonderful given the time constraints of my daily life schedule. Carvana goes the EXTRA MILE with guarantees and after purchase support, if needed, (I did not need anything as the van has performed completely as expected). I would absolutely recommend Carvana for ANYONE needing an excellent quality, pre-owned vehicle that has been meticulously scrutinied, prepared, and delivered in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. The whole process of selling our car to when Carvana came to pick vehicle up and giving us a cashiers check was 1 week at best. Tom personally called me to walkin me through process with very simple/easy to follow instructions. Then all the people that handled text/email was exceptional themselves. I just can’t say enough good about all involved and Carvana as a company. My having a great experience seemed to be their every concern. My only issue is you deal with several different people during the process as they all have access to your information and I got a few wrong emails that I needed to correct. Just need to stream line that part of the experience. But I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CARVANA if you are selling a car. More
