I put my car up for sale and was contacted by Carvana. They quoted me and the quote was dead even with what I owed on my car loan! They came and picked it up a couple days later. Easiest and painless transaction I’ve ever done with my vehicle! Thank you!! More

Damaged car in delivery My wife and I were really looking forward to getting our new srx. But when it was delivered, we were informed that the onstar/xm antenna was broken of My wife and I were really looking forward to getting our new srx. But when it was delivered, we were informed that the onstar/xm antenna was broken off when it was being delivered. I was handed the antenna and told Carvana would fix it. What this really meant was I would be required to take an entire day off work, go to a Cadillac dealership to get a quote and make several phone calls lasting in excess of 4 hours to get approval for Cadillac to fix what Carvana did to my car. When I brought up the fact I would have to leave my recently purchased car at the dealership for a week and I would be without transportation, Carvana offered nothing. I had to press them to provide a rental car. So, here I am, more than a week after I purchased a vehicle my wife and I really love, and we have only driven it once. Which was to the dealership to get it fixed. Oh and did I mention that the way the antenna broke, it allowed a ton of rain into the headliner, inside the vehicle and Carvana allowed it to be delivered in that condition? On a brighter note, our advocate was great, but that is the only thing that was positive about our first and only experience with this dealership. I will not recommend Carvana to anyone else. Beyond angry and frustrated. If it wasn’t for the fact we really love the car, I would have returned it. More

BEST car buying experience EVER!!!! My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A fe My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience. So when Carvana launched, I was skeptical but I decided to give them a try. I knew I wouldn't be ready to purchase until late summer, but started the search early. . My requirements were very narrow when it came to the make, model, transmission, AWD, model year, mileage and maximum price. . Every week I was sent email matches that allowed me to do research, fill out a minimum of forms, and make buying decisions at my leisure and on my schedule — even if that was in the middle of the night. Taking delivery, arranging payment and confirming the final purchase online was amazingly efficient. The copilot app and both the email and text updates kept me informed of the progress if my purchase/transaction every step of the way. . The final buying exchange, including all the paperwork but minus my extended test drive, took only five minutes. All the Carvana swag was also a nice touch. To round out the experience, my delivery driver/closing agent was punctual, incredibly polite. He made sure all my questions were answered and I was comfortable before leaving my home. . I had such a blast driving my car I forgot to call within the seven day test period to make a swap. I'm just kidding of course I'm keeping my Nissan Juke! There was one piece of information missing on one of the documents that was holding us up but we wouldn’t have known if we didn’t call to see what the delay was. Terms that I saw on the website were the exact terms as when I signed the contract. Their customer service is great, they really go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy. The day I picked up my car at the vending machine... the experience is fantastic. Got to test drive it for a little bit before deciding that I was going home with it. When I was ready and decided to take it home, signed all the paperwork which was a relatively easy and quick process. I love my car and the experience was great but something I would’ve appreciated a lot more is the cleanliness of the car. I get it, there’s no full detailing service but it just felt like I was picking up a cheap rental car. There were couple dings on the paint that weren’t mentioned online but no big deal, wasn’t a deal breaker. When I mentioned this Carvana offered to reimburse me to get the car detailed which I will. Took the car to a ford dealership for a PPI and they said car was mechanically new. Very satisfied with my new car but in the future I’d like to see a bit more cleanliness! More

Convenient but has limitations I have always bought new cars and my last purchase was more than 10 years ago. I was not sure what to expect from Carvana but was pleased overall. It's important for customers to understand the limitations, though. Pros: 1) Large national inventory. 2) Reasonable prices. 3) Full disclosure of features and body damage. 4) Smart and friendly phone reps who know how to answer questions w/o punting to supervisors. 4) Relatively straightforward buying process. 5) No high pressure sales techniques. Just the slightest hint of pressure when I declined the Carvana warranty coverage. Cons: 1) You need to know what car you want before engaging with Carvana. There is no local inventory of cars to test drive. 2) There is no customer rep who is dedicated to your transaction. You will get someone new every time you call and will need to explain your situation to them. Fortunately, the reps are bright (see #4 above). But it is somewhat annoying to have to bring the rep up to speed. 3) Email inquiries take too long to process and replies do not respond to all of your questions. You need to call to get information. 4) The emails that Carvana sends requesting information do not always explicitly state what is needed. You need to call. (see Cons #2). 5) Website does not explain how to combine third party loan with cash payment. More
