Final purchase good but path to there was rough. I originally put a deposit on a vehicle that wasn’t yet ready for sale. After over 3 weeks it still wasn’t through the inspection process, no photos. There were no proactive updates to me and I couldn’t get any explanation and no estimate of completion. We finally decided to purchase another vehicle. That part went amazingly smooth. However, when pulling paperwork for insurance I noticed that the car color was changed from what I printed when I placed the order and I hadn’t been advised. I could not get any resolution and basically was either stuck with or starting over a 3rd time. I think the base concept is great but my personal experience was painful. More

It had some serious problems with the brakes, which I immediately noticed during my 5 minute test drive. The advocate told me I would receive a call to get it fixed within 24-48 hours. I didn't hear back from Carvana, so took it to a mechanic to see what they thought. They said the brakes we basically unsafe to drive and should be replaced, before driving it any further. The so-called "150 Point Inspection" and "Our standard: the highest" seems like great marketing, but doesn't seem to hold much truth to it. If you do a 150-point inspection and only sell the best possible quality, it's confusing to me how a car with unsafe brakes "passed" that selection. Contacted Carvana with that news and they said they did an inspection on the brakes and they were fine, so I would have to go back to the mechanic to get a written diagnostics report and send that to them. Also during that call Carvana told me they had resurfaced the brake rotors during their maintenance. So I went back to the mechanic to pay them for another inspection and ask for a written report. I mentioned that Carvana indicated that the rotors were recently resurfaced, but the mechanic started laughing and told me that we absolutely impossible. Sent the written report back to Carvana and waited for approval for the repait, which I received the next day. Received an email stating my mechanic would need to contact SilverRock before doing the repairs to get approval again (?). So now, 1 full week after delivery I can't return my vehicle and still can't drive it, because we are waiting for SilverRock to approve the repairs. No attempt from Carvana to compensate me for my trouble, time and/or mechanic inspection fees. I guess Carvana is great if you receive a problem free car, but if there's an issue it's painful and extremely time consuming to try and get it fixed (still not sure if it will ever be fixed). My feeling is that once they have your money, they no longer care... Lesson learned: if your Carvana car is delivered and you find something wrong with it: SEND IT BACK and do not let them try to "get it fixed". More

Great Return Policy I love this dealership. The fact you can try any car for 6 days (first day pickup counts) and up to 400 miles is the best policy to date..... ANYWH I love this dealership. The fact you can try any car for 6 days (first day pickup counts) and up to 400 miles is the best policy to date..... ANYWHERE. It gives you time to try it out, look it over yourself and/or with an ASE certified mechanic, or even see if sleeping in it is comfortable. The customer service in store was excellent. However, they lose a star when it comes to speaking with the repair department, and I was given no ability to negotiate a better deal due to discovering rust inside the vehicle and that the clutch was fairly worn out. Even when sending photos. I am going back in a few weeks (reserved it with a $100 refundable), to check out a 2010 Camaro, and see if it's any better. More
