Easy to purchase on line, clean vehicle, just as described, was delivered to my home, and I drove it for several days. Very nice car, but decided I preferred a 2018 AWD sport model. Made Carvana aware of my intent to return the car, which they confirmed with an email, and they picked the car up at my home two days later (on a Friday). Pick up went smoothly and money was deposited in my account by the following Thursday (during a New Year's holiday week).I would not hesitate using Carvana again. More

I was very busy and had a lot on my plate and the rep followed up and stayed on board every step of the way providing a very simple and smooth experience for me. We had issues We found an SUV online that we liked and we decided to trade in our vehicle. The price on the trade in was good and the document process was fine. Our issues started when the SUV we purchased was delivered. The outside was clean and shiny. The inside was not clean. They had greased up the seats but not actually cleaned them. There were several spots of, what I can only assume to be, candy residue. They greased right over them without actually removing them. They vacuumed the drivers side floor and under the mat. They didn't bother to vacuum under the mat of the front seat passengers side or the back seat. When I folded the third row seats forward we found all kinds of debris, dog hair everywhere and candy. It was disgusting. The guy who delivered the car apologized and took a picture. He offered to send us a check for $50 to offset the cost of a detail job. Apologizing does not get dog hair out of a car. The check still has not showed up. About 10 minutes after he left the seat adjustment buttons on the drivers side stopped working. Really?! We took it to the dealership the next day to have that repaired and to make sure there wasn't anything else wrong with the car before the 7 day trial period expired. On the night of delivery we called the Carvana 800 number and spoke to a guy named Kia. He was surprised at the condition of the car and offered to reimburse us after we had the car detailed. He assured us he would send an email with everything in it that we had discussed. That email never came. The customer service is subpar and the people who detail the cars, at least in Austin, should be retrained. I spent an hour vacuuming dog hair out of the third row seat. We have purchased no fewer than 6 used cars in about 10 years. We have never had a car in that condition but we've never purchased a car sight unseen before either. Online pictures are not the same as actually being able to get in a used vehicle. I guess maybe Carvana is banking on that. I wouldn't recommend Carvana for that reason. Oh, and their customer service stinks. More
Do not go with the “easy” way I thought this was such an easy way to purchase a vehicle. I am a single mom, always working or doing something for my kids. The process started out on a good note, nice easy website, lots of cars to choose from and finance info was simple to give. Then my car which was going to be delivered on Christmas Eve, was locked from purchase. I was apparently buying a car they didn’t even have the title for. Next car they told me all of my documents would be transferred to the new car. That was part true. Some of it was transferred, I got yanked around thinking I was buying a car. They claimed that they never did my employment verification. They had. Then they didn’t get another verification, which I pointed out they had. This went on. Never once did anyone go out of their way to help me after the experience I had had or after each and every mistake. Each issue delayed me getting the vehicle. Finally they have everything. I get my car the next day. I am starting to get excited until I find out they are waiting for me to schedule my delivery? I was told by the customer service people that I have to wait for the underwriters to review a form before scheduling. It didn’t matter to them one iota that I would have to wait even longer. When I told them to cancel my car, the rep told me to be sure that’s what I want to do but never tried to make it right. Thank you Carvana for holding my money hostage and wasting my time. People need to know how this large no face company treats people when snags are hit. More

I had a slightly better offer elsewhere, but when that other one fell through, I contacted the rep a few days later and their program actually gave me a better price by a few hundred dollars so I accepted. I had a loan on my car and they walked me through the paperwork process. I made the appt to give them my car - gotta admit this is where I got nervous, bcuz I was handing over my car based on the contract signed, not a payoff from my lender. It was a great relief when my lender told me a few days later that the car loan had been paid off! Everything went as planned, very smoothly and I got a good price for my car! My rep was very responsive, as well as customer service when I called them, and the young lady who picked up my car - all were excellent to deal with! Five stars from me regarding selling a car to Carvana! More
