Hi, This was resolved on Friday (over a month after the tags were expired). The only thing I was offered was a $25 reimbursement for an Uber or Lyft...I have a son that requires a car seat and I drive too long to work to be comfortable with an Uber or Lyft. I asked about using the $25 towards a rental instead- was denied...which makes 0 sense. So like I said- if you want to be able to drive your car, go to a dealer. If you want to have to use a Uber or Lyft for a month (offered only after 2 weeks after the tag expired)- use Carvana. Oh and btw- I forgot to mention that my bank actually looked into it for me and Carvana used a third party dealer to send the tags into the DMV for them which created some delay.
