Quick approval process and the car got delivered to our house 2 days later 5 minutes before they said they would arrive. The car was delivered on May 5th. It went all down hill from there. First off it had way more "imperfections" than stated on the website. They first said they would cover to have them all fixed than they changed to only doing the bumpers. We took what we could get. Once we agreed to their terms I than had to find a shop and get the estimate myself. Once I sent it to them they than stated that they were not going to cover anything. I than had to spend more time coping and pasting their own correspondence to show where they said they would. And it was this huge time sucker to actually get it done, and the back and forth between them and the warranty company was ridiculous. They then made us pay out of pocket for a rental while the new car was in the shop, and it took over a month of back and forth for them to actually cover the cost. That's just the beginning... We did not receive the new plates after the temporary ones expired. I called the day after they expired and they said there was an issue with the title. No one from there called us to tell us this ahead of time. We had to go through the headache of getting a rental again, that this time they are fully covering. It is now August 22nd and we are still driving the rental. Also we bought a hybrid for a reason and the rental is a huge step down from the car we bought and is not a hybrid. We have been calling every couple weeks to be put on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes (once you buy a care from them this is always the case no matter what you are calling for) for them to tell us it will be another couple weeks and they don't know anything else. This has just been a huge headache and time sucker. We have missed work because of all the time we have had to spend on the phone. And every single time we have had to call them! Not once have they reached out to us to tell us what is going on. The customer service has been absolutely horrible. I am leaving out a bunch of details as far as how much of pain this has been but I think you get the general idea. We bought a car from them to make it easier than dealing with a dealership and this has been so much worse in every way. More

They proceed to tell me that cars have wear and tear (THIS IS NOT WEAR AND TEAR.. this was from a full blown accident; there was even attempts of touch up paint by either Carvana or previous owner)) and that only the top or biggest 3 or 4 defects will be shown online.. WELL THAT MAKES NO SENSE CAUSE THIS GASH is 10 times bigger then the rest and is down the primer. ON TOP OF THAT THE A/C unit doesn't work.. blows warm air. ITS SUMMER TIME. So i just bought a 20k car to only have to put it into the shop AS SOON as i get it?! makes no sense. I"M NOT DOING THAT so i'm deciding to exchange it.. well guess what. MY FAMILY NEEDS A CAR TO GET TO SCHOOL/WORK. They other car won't be here for a week and a half and CARVANA IS NOT WILLING TO EXTEND the 400 mile trial period rule. SO ONCE I GO OVER 400 miles i'll be charge $1 per mile when its not our fault; we need to keep this car until the other exchange car gets here. HOW IS THIS FAIR TO MY FAMILY AN I. HOW? I'm considering taking legal action at this point. Update: we wanted to exchange the car but then they sent us a car with the bumper ripped off 😡😡 More

Placed my order with no problems picked a pickup date, but I (my wife) changed my choice of vehicle. Called in customer service was excellent canceled my first order and placed my second choice vehicle. Wife and I experienced the best service at the vending machine, test drove and completed the 7 trial and now we are owners of a very wonderful car! Thank you Carvana! More
AWFUL DON'T TRUST THEM I'm a resident in Houston and I recently purchased a car through Carvana. This was my first time purchasing a car so I was very thorough with my contr I'm a resident in Houston and I recently purchased a car through Carvana. This was my first time purchasing a car so I was very thorough with my contract and car fax. I had it read over with my boyfriend who was co-signing with me. I sent it over to my mom to check over as well. It was a great deal, 2016 dodge challenger under 30,000 miles, no cosmetic imperfections for 20,700. The car was delivered to me at the beginning of July, and before I even got out to the car the gentleman who was dropping it off told me he had noticed some cosmetic issues. Then after doing a walk through I noticed quite a bit more. I was told by the gentleman that the pictures would be submitted and to wait to hear from them about what could be done. I eventually was informed to take it to a body shop and get an estimate. That was done. Then I was told to wait for confirmation for the repairs to be approved. As the car was listed with no imperfection I was highly motivated to think they would not refuse the repairs. While waiting for the approval I noticed the car had a coolant leak. I informed carvana and was again told to get an estimate then submit it and wait for approval. However the car still had a couple months of the manufacturer's warranty on it so I just had it repaired under that. That was 2 days without my car, and a couple weeks pass and I was still waiting for approval for the cosmetic issues. I eventually called them and found it they had been approved I just hadn't been made aware. I was supposed to receive a text message, however, I didn't get it. I can understand technology mistakes happen sometimes though. I was finally able to take the car to the body shop on August 5th. That following friday, August 9th, my repair advisor called me to inform me that the team had removed the bumper to get to some repair areas and noticed quite a bit of hidden damage. I had them stop repairs and contacted carvana. Since finding the hidden damages I have spent over 5 hours on the phone with them. Multiple 24 hour approval days and found out the car had 13,000 dollars of damage between the cosmetics and the hidden repair. 10,000 dollars of it being hidden under the bumper and lights and grill being glued together as well as the reinforcement bar being dented in multiple areas. I asked to return the car and pick out another one of equal value, with my personal understanding that they sold me a car with extreme damages and was concerned that there are other hidden damages. They have refused to honor my original terms, now requiring a 6000 dollar down payment and a 24 percent interest rate compared to my original 0 down and 12ish percent interest rate. When I asked why I could not have the original terms thet said because they no longer offer co signing and they would not transfer the terms to a different car, even though had the car I had originally chosen not been damaged I would have the car with those terms still. So now my credit has been dinged twice due to the hard pull required to to get my terms original and then dinged when I opened the loan, same for my boyfriend. On top of that I am without a car and unable to go somewhere else without paying extra due to my lowered credit score. Not to mention I just went through a whole buying process then the process of dealing with the repairs and now I am having to deal with trying to get the first months payment back, which can't be done until they have the car in the possession, which can't be done until the repairs are done. I am unable to understand how they could do this to a customer who has done nothing wrong, I have been nothing but polite on the phone despite my growing frustration and I have been patient and in constant contact with them regarding everything. They sold me a car that should never have been listed, then refuse to honor the same interest and 0 down even for a car at the same price, and refuse to let my boyfriend co sign with me when it was allowed a month ago. 8/15/19 - Seamless Sell in NYC! I recently relocated to NYC and Kenny helped me sell my car despite me dragging my feet for nearly a month (I think he gave me 3 or 4 appraisals and n I recently relocated to NYC and Kenny helped me sell my car despite me dragging my feet for nearly a month (I think he gave me 3 or 4 appraisals and never batted an eye or complained)...His patience and friendliness were refreshing given the general customer service attitude these days and the process was generally painless. Upload the photos to your account, schedule an appointment and (in my case) Manny arrives to take the car away (I didn't have to take my car anywhere, they come to you!). Manny was absolutely wonderful, answered all of my questions about the paperwork and explained everything to a T. He also kindly took my license plates off for me and offered to give me "a moment" with my car before taking her away. This business concept is genius and super convenient and the staff is awesome. I do have a suggestion for corporate: Make the website more intuitive (it was difficult to navigate making an appointment online). Other than that, this is a seller's dream, especially in an urban environment. More

Almost a month and still no car -- they keep blaming the DMV for the title and registration, but they did not bother to call me to tell me it was still delayed. They sent me a generic email stating there was a delay without details. They should call customers and explain themselves instead of sending impersonal and vague emails. To say that I am angry is an understatement. I am paying insurance on a car I don't even have in my possession and it is costing me money every single day. It would be too much to start the process all over again for the title and purchase, so I continue to play the waiting game. They offered to send me a check for my trouble but the time and aggravation this has caused me is so upsetting. I'm a pretty patient person but they have really pushed me over the edge. More
