Vehicle showed up as prescribed but had a check engine light on day 1 and then a dead battery on day three. Obviously a serious quality issue with the products being offered. Listed it on the usual internet places, and very early on got a text from Jan at Carvana. She had a few questions, offered a fair price, and the deal was done all by text and email in a few days. She stayed in touch and always answered my questions. No hassles with broken appointments from strangers via text or email, time wasted on indecisive people-none of that.. Carvana was so refreshingly different! Everyone selling a nice used car should check this company out-probably if you are buying as well. Its so honest, professional, and simple. More

I found exactly the car I wanted, the ordering process was straightforward, my delivery date was set and I was happy as a clam. Then.... At 5:30 the night before my delivery, I got an email saying that my car was still in Texas and delivery was delayed for two weeks. This put me in a bit of a bind because I had already disposed of my old car. The day before my revised delivery, I got another call. My car was here but there was no charger. Next day another call — they had a charger but the car wasn’t charging. The corrected the problem and my car was delivered a few days later. My delivery person could not have been nicer. She volunteered to have the car detailed by a mobile detailing company as the cleanliness was “not up to Carvana standards” but later said that the quotes she got were “pretty pricey” and it never happened. The floor mats were missing and she promised me replacements in “a week and a half” but six weeks looks more likely (haven’t arrived yet but I’m hopeful). And there was some undisclosed damage to the car that I didn’t notice until the next week. I think Carvana is a great idea. I never would have been able to get the exact car I wanted without them, but the promise of the thoroughness and ease of ordering the car was not matched in the delivery process. If I weren’t looking for a hard-to-find car, I would go to a regular dealer. There you can see what you’re going to get with no waiting. More

Quick approval process and the car got delivered to our house 2 days later 5 minutes before they said they would arrive. The car was delivered on May 5th. It went all down hill from there. First off it had way more "imperfections" than stated on the website. They first said they would cover to have them all fixed than they changed to only doing the bumpers. We took what we could get. Once we agreed to their terms I than had to find a shop and get the estimate myself. Once I sent it to them they than stated that they were not going to cover anything. I than had to spend more time coping and pasting their own correspondence to show where they said they would. And it was this huge time sucker to actually get it done, and the back and forth between them and the warranty company was ridiculous. They then made us pay out of pocket for a rental while the new car was in the shop, and it took over a month of back and forth for them to actually cover the cost. That's just the beginning... We did not receive the new plates after the temporary ones expired. I called the day after they expired and they said there was an issue with the title. No one from there called us to tell us this ahead of time. We had to go through the headache of getting a rental again, that this time they are fully covering. It is now August 22nd and we are still driving the rental. Also we bought a hybrid for a reason and the rental is a huge step down from the car we bought and is not a hybrid. We have been calling every couple weeks to be put on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes (once you buy a care from them this is always the case no matter what you are calling for) for them to tell us it will be another couple weeks and they don't know anything else. This has just been a huge headache and time sucker. We have missed work because of all the time we have had to spend on the phone. And every single time we have had to call them! Not once have they reached out to us to tell us what is going on. The customer service has been absolutely horrible. I am leaving out a bunch of details as far as how much of pain this has been but I think you get the general idea. We bought a car from them to make it easier than dealing with a dealership and this has been so much worse in every way. More

Gave me a car with issues The process of purchasing the car was easy. That I give to them. But here is the issue. They gave us a car that a HUGE GASH down the side of it. it was not reported online. They proceed to tell me that cars have wear and tear (THIS IS NOT WEAR AND TEAR.. this was from a full blown accident; there was even attempts of touch up paint by either Carvana or previous owner)) and that only the top or biggest 3 or 4 defects will be shown online.. WELL THAT MAKES NO SENSE CAUSE THIS GASH is 10 times bigger then the rest and is down the primer. ON TOP OF THAT THE A/C unit doesn't work.. blows warm air. ITS SUMMER TIME. So i just bought a 20k car to only have to put it into the shop AS SOON as i get it?! makes no sense. I"M NOT DOING THAT so i'm deciding to exchange it.. well guess what. MY FAMILY NEEDS A CAR TO GET TO SCHOOL/WORK. They other car won't be here for a week and a half and CARVANA IS NOT WILLING TO EXTEND the 400 mile trial period rule. SO ONCE I GO OVER 400 miles i'll be charge $1 per mile when its not our fault; we need to keep this car until the other exchange car gets here. HOW IS THIS FAIR TO MY FAMILY AN I. HOW?
