I didn't have to adjust schedule, deal with listing it multiple places or deal with showings. I talked to the rep over text and email, they gave me an offer that was within $500 of what I would have sold it for. They cento pick up the car at my house and cute a.check then and there. More

Honest Dealership, but you have to stay on top of them So heres what you need to know right off the bat. Carvana seriously wants to help you buy a car as easy as they can, however there are still some bum So heres what you need to know right off the bat. Carvana seriously wants to help you buy a car as easy as they can, however there are still some bumps in the process that need ironed out. Those bumps mean you need to call in anytime you are curious about where you stand in the process and yes like any business you may get someone on the phone who is just pulling a paycheck, but there are people who really care and want to see happy customers. Middle of July I placed an order through the website for a particular car. I had driven this car before so I knew what I was getting. All cars in our family previously were purchased through dealerships (both new and used,) but I wanted to try something different. Prior to ordering I had questions, I called, and got great answers. I ordered. There were more questions as I wanted to transfer my license plate from my existing car and the people I emailed through the Registration department were very helpful with getting that done. Car pickup was scheduled for a week later at my local vending machine; delivery because of my area was not an option. Two days before pickup I get a voice mail saying my car was delayed and to call the 800 number. No other info given. Call back to inquire and was told it was a logistics issue to get the car to my vending machine and it would be delayed one week. Person I talked to was more interested in getting me to take another vehicle even though I explained repeatedly this particular car was the whole reason I was giving Carvana a try which just added to my frustration. I hung up the phone very unhappy as this meant I was stuck paying for a rent a car for another week and I really didn’t feel like the person I talked to cared. Next day family and I went to a convention in Pittsburgh which Carvana just happened to be sponsoring and I talked to the people who were there for the company. Those two ladies could not have come off more sure of the product and excited for what the company was doing. Because of them I stuck it out for the week, but I called again to say I’d like a confirmation in a few days that the car made the transport and we were definitely going to make it this time. Was promised I would get it. I did not. I ended up calling again to confirm on my own. I go to pick up the car on time for the second date and that experience is everything I thought it would be. The car comes down out of the ceiling of the machine, spins around, goes out the side door and the family loved it. I signed some quick paperwork and did a test drive. Took the car home. Within the seven days I took the car to my mechanic who gave a big thumbs up and my auto body guy who also was equally impressed with the quality of the car. I found a minor issue with the air filter box that one of the clips were cracked off, but honestly it was a nitpicky thing. I called it in within the seven days and the issue was processed. I’m taking it to my guy and they are paying. Very easy. On the way home from the vending machine my kid found a piece of safety glass in the backseat. Very odd find. I brought that up too, but no one at Carvana had any record of it. They went over their records of what was done with the car before sale (a lot of maintenance items like brakes, trunk seals, etc) but nothing about glass. I later found a ton of it in the valley between the folding backseats and the trunk. I called again and shared this info. They sent me a check to have the car detailed. I’m totally happy with that option. Not a problem though I do theorize this may be the real reason my car was delayed, but doesn’t matter. I was happy with this fix. The car comes with a temporary registration plate good for 45 days. By the time 45 days rolls by you should have your real plate (or in my case paperwork to transfer my existing plate) but day 45 for me is Monday and I don’t have my paperwork yet. I called two days ago and was told Carvana uses a 3rd party service and theres no way to track the progress of that operation. I’m flabbergasted as in the year 2019 how doesn’t everything have a digital tracking ability, but ok. Someone will call me back with more details. Call didn’t come. Two days later I called and they are telling me they did get info and that my registration won’t be at my house till October 2nd. This means my new car will sit in the garage undrivable for 9 days. They are working on a solution and I have no doubt it will be ok, but as many of the complaints I read before I got into this is around the registration process how long before Carvana finds another 3rd party who CAN deliver on dead lines? Seriously I will have made one car payment with the next only days away by the time the car is truly 100% mine. That’s a major problem in my book. So bottom line YES I’m happy with the car. YES I would PROBABLY do this again because the car I received was so high quality as they had noted and financing was so easy, however I really hope Carvana deals with the Registration process. Its not just me. Google on your own. A lot of people are having this problem and I hope before the next care I buy comes around its straightened out. If you do take this route always call if you are curious were you stand. If your not getting texts about your registration process (I wasn’t) call them up. Don’t wait for them to come to you. More

Fast & Easy Buying from Carvana was an easy experience and I will definitely be back! The guy that delivered my car was nice and also fast! Everytime you call you Buying from Carvana was an easy experience and I will definitely be back! The guy that delivered my car was nice and also fast! Everytime you call you get someone speaking clear and great English as well as very polite! The only thing I would change about the experience is the cleanliness of the car when I got it. The car was vacuumed and smelled nice but no one had took the time to clean it properly. There was still some stains on the plastic, dirt in the cracks, and the seats were stained. Everything came clean once I just simply took a rag and some cleaner to it. Just wish I didn’t have to do it. But overall they were very friendly, very efficient, and I would highly recommend! More

A few highs and MANY lows The buying process was fairly easy, my car was delivered exactly when they said it would be. The car matched the description on the website. The car h The buying process was fairly easy, my car was delivered exactly when they said it would be. The car matched the description on the website. The car has had no mechanical difficulties. That is where the positives end. My Nissan Pathfinder was pretty dirty on the inside and out, didn't even look like a vacuum had been run through it. It came with zero floor mats and the lady delivering the vehicle said that she would place an order for some to be delivered to my house, that was on July 19th. Today is September 18th and still not place mats. Not that it matters, since I haven't been able to drive the car in 3 weeks. Then we get to the real issue- registration and post sales customer service. As time was nearing for my temporary registration to expire (9/1/19) I started to get worried that I hadn't received my tags or registration information. I called Carvana multiple times, each time I was on hold for over 40 minutes and got tired of waiting and hung up. Eventually I decided to just go to the DMV. I sat in the line at the VA DMV for over two hours, got up to the counter to have the lady tell me that they can't do anything about expired tags from a different state (Georgia). I went home and endured another 40 minute wait until someone answered and said, "Oh yeah, we could've told you that the DMV can't do anything to help you. This is a title issue. We haven't received your title yet so we can't proceed with registration." Then they told me that it is illegal to drive with expired tags, and this was entirely their vault, so they would pay for a rental car. This was on the Sunday of Labor day weekend so finding an open Enterprise was a challenge in of itself. The enterprise only had the options of a pick up truck or a Nissan Sentra (Carvana guaranteed I would have a rental that matched the size of my newly purchased Pathfinder). I ended up taking the Sentra which is a tight fit for carseats and my family. I am now into week 3 of driving the tiny rental (again my sale was complete on 7/19). The last I spoke with Carvana they said they could provide no timeline on when my registration would be complete and that I would be using the rental for the time being. Each time my car payment gets deducted I get a little more furious that I am paying for a spacious Pathfinder and I am stuck indefinitely in a go kart. Apparently registration is a major issue with Carvana and they skirt around the issue and make excuses by saying "we use an outside company for registration so it is out of our hands." Way to pass the buck. I will be telling everyone far and wide to steer clear of Carvana. More

But that is where the good experience stops. Completing all the paperwork becomes quite time consuming. And the whole time you are filling out the forms you watch the timer tick down saying complete now for guaranteed delivery. After rushing thru I was guaranteed a delivery on a Tuesday (7 days away). The first bummer. Monday, day before pickup I received a phone call from a rep that the delivery truck never showed to pick up the car. Quite a head scratcher. So the next delivery date will be the following Tuesday. The rep 100% guaranteed me this date the car will be there. 6 days later again another phone call. Right away I could tell by the reps tone of voice it was more bad news. Again I’m told the delivery truck just never showed up and my car was sitting in Cleveland. Well that’s a shocker because originally I was told the vehicle was coming from Indiana. I tell the rep I can’t wait 7 more days. I need this car and I will be away the next week. All he says is I don’t know what to tell you. You can cancel the order. I almost feel like the vehicle I ordered didn’t exist. There is no way carvania wouldn’t be able to get the car to me especially if Coming from Cleveland which is only 7 hours from my house in over 14 days. It’s truely a shame because buying online seemed like a great change from traditional options but don’t fall for it. I also think Carvania needs to look up the definition of guaranteed. More
