The guys who picked up the vehicle were great to chat with as we went over all of the terms of the sale. I would recommend Carvana to anyone who has a vehicle to sell. More
Fast & Easy Buying from Carvana was an easy experience and I will definitely be back! The guy that delivered my car was nice and also fast! Everytime you call you Buying from Carvana was an easy experience and I will definitely be back! The guy that delivered my car was nice and also fast! Everytime you call you get someone speaking clear and great English as well as very polite! The only thing I would change about the experience is the cleanliness of the car when I got it. The car was vacuumed and smelled nice but no one had took the time to clean it properly. There was still some stains on the plastic, dirt in the cracks, and the seats were stained. Everything came clean once I just simply took a rag and some cleaner to it. Just wish I didn’t have to do it. But overall they were very friendly, very efficient, and I would highly recommend! More

A few highs and MANY lows The buying process was fairly easy, my car was delivered exactly when they said it would be. The car matched the description on the website. The car h The buying process was fairly easy, my car was delivered exactly when they said it would be. The car matched the description on the website. The car has had no mechanical difficulties. That is where the positives end. My Nissan Pathfinder was pretty dirty on the inside and out, didn't even look like a vacuum had been run through it. It came with zero floor mats and the lady delivering the vehicle said that she would place an order for some to be delivered to my house, that was on July 19th. Today is September 18th and still not place mats. Not that it matters, since I haven't been able to drive the car in 3 weeks. Then we get to the real issue- registration and post sales customer service. As time was nearing for my temporary registration to expire (9/1/19) I started to get worried that I hadn't received my tags or registration information. I called Carvana multiple times, each time I was on hold for over 40 minutes and got tired of waiting and hung up. Eventually I decided to just go to the DMV. I sat in the line at the VA DMV for over two hours, got up to the counter to have the lady tell me that they can't do anything about expired tags from a different state (Georgia). I went home and endured another 40 minute wait until someone answered and said, "Oh yeah, we could've told you that the DMV can't do anything to help you. This is a title issue. We haven't received your title yet so we can't proceed with registration." Then they told me that it is illegal to drive with expired tags, and this was entirely their vault, so they would pay for a rental car. This was on the Sunday of Labor day weekend so finding an open Enterprise was a challenge in of itself. The enterprise only had the options of a pick up truck or a Nissan Sentra (Carvana guaranteed I would have a rental that matched the size of my newly purchased Pathfinder). I ended up taking the Sentra which is a tight fit for carseats and my family. I am now into week 3 of driving the tiny rental (again my sale was complete on 7/19). The last I spoke with Carvana they said they could provide no timeline on when my registration would be complete and that I would be using the rental for the time being. Each time my car payment gets deducted I get a little more furious that I am paying for a spacious Pathfinder and I am stuck indefinitely in a go kart. Apparently registration is a major issue with Carvana and they skirt around the issue and make excuses by saying "we use an outside company for registration so it is out of our hands." Way to pass the buck. I will be telling everyone far and wide to steer clear of Carvana. More

But that is where the good experience stops. Completing all the paperwork becomes quite time consuming. And the whole time you are filling out the forms you watch the timer tick down saying complete now for guaranteed delivery. After rushing thru I was guaranteed a delivery on a Tuesday (7 days away). The first bummer. Monday, day before pickup I received a phone call from a rep that the delivery truck never showed to pick up the car. Quite a head scratcher. So the next delivery date will be the following Tuesday. The rep 100% guaranteed me this date the car will be there. 6 days later again another phone call. Right away I could tell by the reps tone of voice it was more bad news. Again I’m told the delivery truck just never showed up and my car was sitting in Cleveland. Well that’s a shocker because originally I was told the vehicle was coming from Indiana. I tell the rep I can’t wait 7 more days. I need this car and I will be away the next week. All he says is I don’t know what to tell you. You can cancel the order. I almost feel like the vehicle I ordered didn’t exist. There is no way carvania wouldn’t be able to get the car to me especially if Coming from Cleveland which is only 7 hours from my house in over 14 days. It’s truely a shame because buying online seemed like a great change from traditional options but don’t fall for it. I also think Carvania needs to look up the definition of guaranteed. More

My car was set to be Ordered a car online in the beginning of September. I went through my bank to finance because the Carvana rate was insanely high. My car was set to be delivered on September 18th. I received an email (an email and not a call) on the night of September 16th stating that the delivery was delayed and for me to call. I had to call twice to reach someone. I was told that they could not deliver now Until October 1st. I complained and asked for the delivery fee to be returned and had to be transferred to another department. I was offered $25 per day at the most. Carvana made me take out car insurance starting Sept 18 (the day my car was supposed to be delivered). So now I am stuck paying a car payment and car insurance for almost a half a month on a car that I do not have. Carvana’s response? For me to call back every day and check. Dealers charge fees for a reason and that is customer service. I asked Carvana what would happen because the payoff amount on my trade in would be different due to the delay in shipping. Carvana told me that Capital One (who was receiving the payoff amount in the contract) would have to refund me the over payment. Skip to delivery date on October 1st. Car is delivered by someone who is new and the car does not have the features advertised (BACK UP CAMERA). I have to again speak to someone in management who says that what is advertised on the web and their APP can be two completely different things. SERIOUSLY! So I say fine and they offer me $100 for their error in advertising and I buy a separate camera system and have it installed. Car registration was for 45 days and here it is November 15th and I still do not have my tags from October 1st. Did Carvana call me to explain the delay? No I had to reach out and ask and they emailed me another temporary registration, but I have no idea where the actual registration and tags are in the process. Also I called Capital One to find out when I would be receiving the refund on the over payment based on my trade in value changing due to Carvana's delay in shipping. Capital One explains that they only received the exact payoff amount and not the amount on the contract that I paid and signed for with Carvana. So I called Carvana who tries to explain to me the breakdown after even speaking with finance. So they speak to finance and still refuse to admit to catch that they have tried to steal $450 from me. I insist that Carvana go back and check my contract versus what they paid to Capital One and they FINALLY realize that they did not send in the contract pay off amount. Not only did they not catch this, but they did not even acknowledge THEIR complete and total error in keeping $450 in over payment on my trade in value. So here I am 45 days after receiving my delayed shipment car that was not as advertised, still with no registration and waiting to find out how Carvana is going to get my money back to me ASAP that they tried to steal from me. Kenny did an excellent job explaining the process, providing a great offer and following up throughout the process. The pickup was just as satisfying as I was handed a check for the promised amount and was finished within 15 minutes. Highly recommend if you don't want to deal with tire kickers. More

I found a car that I liked and the purchase process was straightforward and easy. I was then able to schedule a time for delivery. My first delivery date was canceled and postponed over a week. A couple of hours before the second delivery time Carvana called and said that it would be delayed again until the next day. I had plans to go out of town the following morning. Finally the delivery driver (the only competent Carvana employee I've dealt with) said that he would be able to deliver the car several hours later that the original time. It ended up being almost midnight before he showed up. The car had numerous chips in the paint that were not documented in the sale listing. In fact the sale listing said that there were no cosmetic issues with the car. The delivery driver apologized for the issue and said they Carvana would have this fixed. The repair team contacted me and said the paint would not be fixed. Upon the second delivery delay the local manager said that I would be compensated $25 per day from the original delivery date. He said that a check would be mailed after the 7 day trial period was over. I'm writing this review almost 2 months later and that check has yet to come. I contacted Carvana again and was told that they have no record of this promise. Stick with CarMax if you want a better experience. I've bought several cars from them and never had any issues. To be sure, this should be a 1 star review. Carvana as a whole deserves 1 star. The delivery driver, Will T, is the sole reason for bumping it to 2 stars. More
Buying from Carvana was one of the worst decisions I’ve made This should serve as a warning to other military families who are moving around to NOT buy from Carvana. My wife and I were moving back from being sta This should serve as a warning to other military families who are moving around to NOT buy from Carvana. My wife and I were moving back from being stationed overseas and looking to get a car. We knew it would be an odd situation getting the car registered because we had no permanent address in the U.S so we called Carvana to see if it would be possible to buy a truck so that we would have a vehicle as soon as we arrive back in the states. They told us that we could just use a family member’s address and that registration would be easy, that they would do all the work and that we could call to change the State registration once we got an address in our new State. I called them back about 2 weeks after we got the car and they said I couldn’t change the address and now I would have to get it registered in a state im not living in. The complications from this have led to almost THREE MONTHS without getting any license plates or registration. My temp tag has expired twice. The first time, Carvana would not help me get a temp tag so I couldn’t drive my truck for a week until I finally found a DMV that would give me another temp tag. That temp tag has expired and now I have to drive a rental. After spending all that money I cannot legally drive my truck because of Carvana’s inept abilities to understand different state’s laws on car registration. Additionally, when we got the truck it was not detailed, it was dirty, and there were no floor mats. The representative at the pickup location said that they would ship me floor mats for free but they still have not come. Carvana has lied to me, given me completely wrong information on what forms to fill out and how to fill them out and as a result have had to spend hours on the phone with Carvana trying to get this fixed. Furthermore, I have had to drive to multiple police departments and courthouses to do the paperwork. Its all been for nothing and there is no end in sight. It seems the easy fix would be just to re-do the paperwork to get the registration done in the state I’m living in but they refuse to do that despite the earlier promise that they could. I would not have bought the truck had that bit of information been accurate. I have never been treated so badly by a company in my life and it is a horrible feeling to have spent my hard earned money on a truck that I now cannot drive. On top of that it has added unnecessary stress to an already stressful move after serving overseas for 3 years. At this point I wish more than anything I could just give the truck back, get a refund, and forget about Carvana. This has been a nightmare and I’d highly recommend that other potential buyers (especially military) just go to a dealership and not buy from Carvana. -Logan More
