The first car I chose there were 2 different mechanical issues that caused multiple week delays that I didn’t find out until the day before pickup. The second car pickup process was seamless, the employees issues that caused multiple week delays that I didn’t find out until the day before pickup. The second car pickup process was seamless, the employees at Carvana were helpful and awesome. during the 7 day trial the car had the engine light come on. But the warranty quickly took care of it at no cost to me. Used cars can. One with an issue or two, so knowing the warranty is easy to deal with is an stress relief. The car overall is nice and my main complaint is in how delays in pickup occur with minimal notice. More
Better Than Plunging Brooch Pins In My Eyes Which is how I feel just thinking about going to a regular dealership these days. Two cars back I stopped visiting dealerships, as my choices have been terribly limited, until fairly recently, by the type of vehicles I require (electric). I would simply determine the exact vehicle I required, contact the dealers by email, and refuse to "come on down". I would tell them exactly what I was seeking, and if they did not have the form-factor and price that I required, I saved a LOT of time by not "coming on down". Last time around my lease was up and of course I waited until the last minute to start shopping. A quick check showed that a lease-return Chevy BOLT was the best deal on an EV this week, so I scanned all the trades, CraigsList, etc. The best numbers kept coming up on cars from Carvana. In my experience, all the cars on Carvana were about $2K cheaper than the best advertised deal I could find anywhere else. And the value of NOT having to go to a dealership and "haggle"? PRICELESS! So the Friday after I turned in my old lease, I got on the computer and bought a car, and Carvana delivered it to my house the following Monday. Was I nervous? You bet. But my FCU said they had done business with them before and had no red flags for me. I looked for super crappy reviews, and found a few, but not in numbers sufficient to scare me off The rep who delivered it was a cool cat who liked his job, so Carvana must be a good company to work for. OK, nothing is perfect, right? The car was not as clean as I could have made it, though it was still in really good shape despite being three years old. If they need to improve anything, I would recommend they work on their pre-sale auto detailing. Most of the bad reviews I read were regarding the car not being cleaned thoroughly. Other than that, I can't recommend Carvana more highly. Buying a car off the internets is no longer crazy talk, so come on down! More
Absolute worst experience. I sold them my car on a Saturday. I have it in writing my car would be paid off in 1-2 business days. That never got done. So I called was on hold multiple times for over an Saturday. I have it in writing my car would be paid off in 1-2 business days. That never got done. So I called was on hold multiple times for over an hour each time. Then I was told it was suppose to be 5-7 business days. It is still not done past that deadline they gave me. Now they are saying it’s my banks fault and they have the check ready but they can’t give me a deadline on when they will send it to my bank. I will never use carvana again. I would highly recommend you never sell them your car or buy from them. All they do is lie about it and put the blame on other people (aka the bank) if you have a Lein. they also didn’t pay the full amount of the loan off when I sent them the payoff. More
My son found a 2014 VW Jetta SportWagen on Carvana that he decided to order. Process to order was easy, customer service rep was friendly, and car was going to be delivered in 2 days. Great! And then the c he decided to order. Process to order was easy, customer service rep was friendly, and car was going to be delivered in 2 days. Great! And then the car arrived. It had damage that was not photographed in their listing and whoever did the detail job did a horrible job. But that actually turned out to be a good thing because we were able to figure out the car appears to have been involved in some sort of shooting. First my son noticed paint overspray on the driver’s side window and that the moulding on the door was newly painted. There was also a dent in the moulding where it was newly painted. Then I got in the vehicle and noticed there was blood splattered on the headliner above the rear passenger door! The delivery driver wouldn’t admit that that was what it was but it was obvious. Needless to say, my son rejected the car. It’s really unfortunate that Carvana’s ethics suck because the buying process was really easy...the only reason I gave them 2 stars. I will never buy a car from them though and my son has decided not to as well. What a waste. More
There's no way they really inspect their cars I recently placed an order with Carvana. When I initially looked at reviews, the main negative I saw was delays in the delivery process, so I was awar I recently placed an order with Carvana. When I initially looked at reviews, the main negative I saw was delays in the delivery process, so I was aware that might be an issue moving forward. My car was supposed to be delivered in 4-5 days from purchase... Delay 1: I was informed by phone call that the car missed the truck that it was supposed to be on and instead of arriving on Saturday, it would arrive on the following Thursday [+5 days]... Delay 2: I received a text that the car was delayed further and upon calling heard the battery had to be replaced and it would now be delivered the following Monday [+4 more days]... Delay 3: I received another text saying that the car would be delayed to the following Sunday [+7 more days]... I called and learned the car had additional mechanical issues so decided to cancel the order. So, what I take from my Carvana experience is (1) the people are generally very friendly, (2) their delivery process and timeline estimations are terrible, and (3) it's hard to believe they actually inspect their cars very well if the car got to the point of sale and THEN they figured out it didn't start. If you decide to roll the dice with Carvana, good luck... More
Best Experience EVER!!! I purchased my vehicle in November. The WHOLE entire process was the easiest, best, quickest experience EVER in car buying. After my car wreck, I was I purchased my vehicle in November. The WHOLE entire process was the easiest, best, quickest experience EVER in car buying. After my car wreck, I was going back and forth to therapy, while working, and picking up my son from school. I was doing all of this in a rental vehicle. The ability to chose the type of vehicle I wanted, within the price range I desired, after work, after dinner, after my son was asleep was PRICELESS. They handled ALL of the paperwork. I chose to do the vending machine at night, so my son could see it and it was an incredibly cool time. The process at the vending machine picking up my car was less than 20 min. After this experience there is NO reason for me to ever go back to a car lot to purchase a vehicle. Oh, NO negotiating. Their price is their price. Not to mention the seven day return policy, and they DON'T run your credit again if you return it and chose another one, unlike some car dealerships. Thanks for allowing me to tell you about my experience. More
What I expected for the price For the price that we paid for the vehicle and the trade-in worth for my 2018 Jeep. I was happy with the experience. All customer service representati For the price that we paid for the vehicle and the trade-in worth for my 2018 Jeep. I was happy with the experience. All customer service representatives were kind and easy to work with—no crazy hold times or offshore call centers. Our delivery guy Mark was great, made the experience very easy! Where I was disappointed was the exterior condition of the car. In the online profile of my vehicle, it said there were three imperfections. This was very much, not true. There are at least eight significant paint chips that require fixing to prevent rusting. And the interior had many stains, and honestly wasn't that clean. The curb guard fell off in the first 100 miles, and I had to take it to a shop for evaluation. The silver lining here is that the repair process was very, very easy. So what I will tell you is that if the exterior condition is high up on your list of needs, I would not choose the online purchase option, but go to an in-person location. More

This was our second purchase with Carvana. And it was just as easy the second time as the first. This purchase we did not like our first choice of vehicle. I made a call that we were not happy with what just as easy the second time as the first. This purchase we did not like our first choice of vehicle. I made a call that we were not happy with what we chose and it was super easy to get a second vehicle out to us. This jeep we fell in love with and there was 100% no hassle at all. This will be the way we purchase cars, won’t be seeing a dealership again More
