Procedure for NY buyer has to be streamlined The steps for NY buyers are more complicated than the general instructions I received. The timeline instructions given in the website are not what the The steps for NY buyers are more complicated than the general instructions I received. The timeline instructions given in the website are not what they end up to be for NY. The DMV requirements, as I was explained later, are more strict. For example, the website states that proof of insurance for the car purchased must be available and shown at the time of delivery. After I sent a proof of insurance copy dated to be in effect on the agreed delivery date; I was later called that It wouldn't be accepted, because it had to be in effect at least 3 business days prior to delivery date for the NYS DMV registration process. The insurance couldn't be pre-dated, so the delivery date had to be changed, and the whole signature of documents had to be repeated. IF the real steps were explained from the very beginning, the whole process would be way smoother. Getting financing was fast and easy with my credit rating. Delivery was smooth. The car has some issues, but, in general, I'm pleased. One last thing, you'll be lucky, unless you have the time to sit down and really wait, to get a live chat going. The only good time is if you're called by a service agent. One thing for sure, you know exactly, to the penny, how much you'll pay, no BS. And you get 7 days to try the car and decide. I appreciated that. More

It took calling 5 days in a row & talking to several people before someone helped me to get a quote on my trade. Thankfully Justin Bond got on it & finally helped me. He made sure I was taken care of af people before someone helped me to get a quote on my trade. Thankfully Justin Bond got on it & finally helped me. He made sure I was taken care of after seeing all of my attempts to get things rolling. He was great!! Car was delivered by a sweet girl named Amber who was helpful, but car was not cleaned well and had dog hair all in the back that I’m still trying to remove. (Not her fault though) 15% oil life maintenance light is still on dash. Not sure if oil was really changed, and I had to take car to car wash to scrub glue off of the windows. If I hadn’t had several people promise they would help me get things moving with my trade and then do nothing nor did they put in their notes what they said they were going write in order to get things moving, it would have been a much better experience. It got pretty stressful since there was a deadline to get the car before the deal fell through and it came down to the last day before I got the help I needed. After all of the headache was over, having a car delivered right to your house without ever having to leave and shop for one is pretty cool! Justin went above and beyond to help me! He was great and has exceptional work ethic! He saved the day!! More

My experience with Carvana was excellent. I found the car and the year I wanted without a pushy salesman and ridiculous terms. The car is a 2019 and arrived in pristine condition.
