Happy with the car. Had to spend $200 to fix loose upholstery on passenger door. Either Carvana or the previous owner used incorrect clip retainers. Can only vouch for my type of situation (delivery all took place within California). I’ve read reviews where it was difficult and had delays for inter-state deliveries. I suggest the earliest appointment possible (8am). More
I've used Carvana a few times. This experience was challenging in that the first car delivered failed a state inspection. The replacement car was delivered with a warning light showing. Each time the team was quick to put it right by taking the cars away, but then their policy is to tell you that the 3rd is final one, with no 7 day policy. Obviously designed to stop people taking advantage. BUT it was Carvana taking advantage by selling cars that didn't meet the description. Not the best way to treat a loyal and patient customer. Hard not to be angry with that. More

Second, even though I really didn't understand the procedure that involved sending pics of driver's license and insurance details, I found the whole process easy and understandable. The car arrived 10 minutes early. The guy who delivered it was courteous and wanted to make sure I understood the car and the Carvana guarantee. Next year I will be looking for a car for my wife. Overall my experience was neutral. It was nice not having to deal with a dealer and their silly fees and hidden extras, but some of the logistics were a hassle. My delivery was delayed twice. The first delay I was expecting as my delivery date was directly after a holiday. The second delay would not have been a huge deal to me, but I wasn't notified of the delay until the day of. When the delivery did finally happen it was very easy. The woman that delivered my car was very nice. The car itself was in fine mechanical condition. There were some small paint defects that I think should have been shown on the imperfection list, but overall no huge glaring issues. The car was dirty when it arrived. I'm not sure if it was due to it not being covered during transit or if they don't wash the cars prior to delivery. Not a huge issue to me since I prefer to wash my vehicles a certain way, but others may care. I was also lucky that my car came with a registration and real license plates. I've heard so many horror stories about people having to wait months to get their final plates and registration. I worked with several Carvana employees. All of them were extremely pleasant to work with. I was actually very surprised at how easy and friendly all the reps I talked to were. Very different compared to my past experiences dealing with other large companies. Why did I used Carvana? They had the car I wanted. No dealers in my area had what I was looking for and the ones offering to import were asking almost $4000 more than Carvana.(Carvana's price was around the lower end of the KBB value) Would I recommend Carvana? It depends. If you are not in a rush to get a vehicle and are willing to take risk then, yeah, give it a try. They have a huge selection. If you need a car quickly then I'd say pass. More
