You clearly need more or better trained people in thoese roles. Your in person service is ironically your strongest point and made the overall experience a positive one. I thought it would be hard, but it was not. I looked at several cars and picked the one I wanted. I did most of the transaction on line. At the moment I purchased the car, I was ecstatic and thought it was going to be the best car buying experience ever, but things took a turn. The main issue was they needed to verify the last four numbers of my bank account number and the balance. Note that I was told that all contracts had to be signed and all funds verified before they could even ship the car (not deliver).The problem is automated bank systems do not list your bank account number they only provide the balance. Furthermore, bank representatives will not provide your account number over the phone. After the Carvana rep and I spent two hours trying to verify funds, I decided to transfer funds into a preferred bank to facilitate the transaction. Unfortunately, they do not have a field to add a second bank, so they had to reset all of the documents I completed to allow input of another bank account. By the time everything was reset, and the funds were verified almost three hours had passed. The good news was that all was done, and I simply needed to wait for the car to be delivered 7 days later. One in a half hours before delivery I received a call saying that I had not signed the contract and that they could not deliver without a signed contract. Instead of being transferred or having somebody contact me, I was then told to call corporate to sort it out. When I attempted to call, there was a 40-minute wait. Fortunately, a message was relayed to corporate and I received a call 15 minutes later. At this time, I was told that the reset to allow for the new bank account voided my contract and I needed to sign a new one. I asked why Carvana waited from Monday (the day of shipment) to Saturday (day of delivery) to inform me of this but I never received a strait answer. Ultimately, I got everything signed an hour before delivery and was assured that the car would be delivered at 1:30. At 1:40 I called Carvana because the car had not been delivered. At this point I was told that the car was about to leave the local lot which was an hour away. I pointed out that if the car had not left the lot at 1:30 then it certainly was not going to be delivered on time and that the least they could have done is given me a curtesy call to say it was going to be late. I finally received the car at 2:30 and found out that there was some sort of mix up earlier that morning with another delivery that caused them to be behind. I should point out that Carvana does not provide you a delivery window they provide you an exact time. In the end, the entire buying process from the time I decided to buy until they drove off took about 8 hours of my time. I have never had an automobile purchase take this long after I have decided to buy. At most the longest experience I have ever had was 3 hours and that was when I finance a car through the dealership. In this case, I did not finance with Carvana. The best part of the experience was the beginning (before buying) and the person who delivered the car. Everything in between could have been better. More

We did have to have the car cleaned as it was dirty & there was a big scratch on the windshield that wasn't reported on the multi-point inspection. Carvana took care of the windshield after we sent pics and gave us money towards having the car cleaned (though we are still waiting on half of it). Otherwise, fairly pleased and would buy from them again. More
