I have Nothing but GOOD things to say about Carvana & MY experience, from getting pre-qualified to delivery to my door. I called in upset because that's a long time to wait for a reschedule, the customer service rep was about to get down to a week, I still a little disappointed but it was better. The day I got my car (2015 Nissan Murano) it was in Great condition, looks wise, almost still looked new! During my 7 day test drive I discovered the bluetooth wouldn't stay connected to my phone & an a unusual smell when driving sometimes, I took to my scheduled appointment in day 6, ALL repairs including an diagnostics was COVERED (and it was quite expensive), even the repair agent was impressed, he had never dealt with them personally! I DEFINITELY recommend the CRAVANA EXPERIENCE! More
The entire process was easy as long as you don’t have a question, concern or feel like you may want to exchange or return the car. What can I say-I wish the process would have been as advertised. Car was delayed 5X. Usually received update the day before delivery, and it generally added 2 weeks to process... Car was damaged in transport (broken rear taillight, scratches on bumper-added another 2+ weeks to delivery). Car wouldn't pass CA Smog (after 150 pt inspection showed it passing) Had to fill out paperwork over 10X. Spent HOURS of my personal time on phone, in chat and following up. Car was delivered dirty-cabin air filter had so much debris in it I could barely get it out. Believe a mouse was living in there based on material. ___ The saving grace was Emily in Executive Resolution-she truly was there for me and I felt like out of everyone I dealt with, she actually had my back. She arranged fair reimbursements for my time (waiting to receive). Jonathan was pretty helpful too-arranged for reimbursement for lack of cleaning, repair of missed broken pieces. ___ Now it's my "job" to spend even more of my time to follow up with SilverRock to rectify the issues: Missing floor mats Replacing broken tailgate step (that was missed in inspection) ____ Learnings: You truly do not know when you will receive vehicle-especially if you place a deposit on a vehicle "coming soon" Be prepared to repeat your story EVERYTIME you call--despite a text chain that had every single interaction, It was always a "re-start" when speaking/chatting (until I was escalated to Executive Resolution) . The 150pt inspection misses a lot of items The highlighted areas in photos show only some of issues Be prepared to do A LOT of legwork yourself--calling Carvana, calling/updating insurance EVERYTIME a delivery is postponed, going to bank for payoff letter (multiple times), driving truck to get weighed for registration, calling SilverRock and their partners to get repairs done that should have been done already ___ I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to experience to match the advertisements, but after over a month of hassle, I wonder aloud if I should not have just gone the old-way and suffered for 5 hours at a dealership. I doubt I will use the service again, I wish it would have been better... More
