I also like the thorough inspection process; I haven’t found anyone else that comes close to that process. However, when it comes to execution of purchasing an auto Carvana fell flat! I found the exact car I was searching for and started the sales process. The processing was fairly straightforward for a cash offer. However, it took almost a week to get paperwork verified and approved. Again, this was a cash offer and I provided copies of the certified check as requested. This delay caused my initial delivery day to be pushed out by a week. The day before my rescheduled delivery, I received a notice from Carvana that they could not proceed with the sale! The only reason given was that the car was unsafe to sell. I would expect any safety issues would have been identified during the 150 point inspection they did, and not the day before delivery. So the entire transaction had to be canceled. After this disappointing experience, I chose not to try my luck with this company again. More
I was at the dealership in Frisco, Tx It was a pleasant experience. The people at the dealership were great and very attentive to my questions and concerns. The new trade in policy to not return your veh experience. The people at the dealership were great and very attentive to my questions and concerns. The new trade in policy to not return your vehicle if the new car doesn’t work out is horrible and not disclosing it until the last minute is shady. More
Very disappointed with this experience. The sale was simple and effortless, but once the car arrived, the troubles began, and the response from Carvana was leads than satisfactory. The b The sale was simple and effortless, but once the car arrived, the troubles began, and the response from Carvana was leads than satisfactory. The battery was dead on arrival, Carvana’s response, instead of replacing the battery right there was to require I go thru the warranty, leaving me stuck with having to drive over 50 miles to a warranty shop AND pay $100 deductible. I bought a battery myself at Walmart for $125 instead to avoid the hassle. The car was not cleaned or detailed. It was filthy, inside and out. We spent an entire weekend detailing the car we were promised would be delivered according to a supposed 150-point inspection. Day 8, the Check Engine Light has now come on. I will now have to put a car that passed Carvana’s rigorous inspection in the shop to correct this, and again, be expected to pay $100 deductible at a shop over an hour away from my home. Not a great experience, and definitely not something I will encourage any friends or family to go through. More
While I appreciate the ease of car buying experience from Carvana, I was really disappointed in the care taken in the advertisement and state of the vehicle upon delivery. The Jeep we ordered was advertised as having a dual top group, but did not come with the soft top. The carvana customer service team member defaulted to the disclaimer about “removable accessories” and not being able to do anything about it. It’s a very expensive part, upwards of $800 to buy new, and should not have been advertised or factored into the price of the car if it didn’t exist. Don’t just default to the sticker the car originally had. Do your due diligence. Also, someone did not install the hard top correctly and the car was soaked with water that leaked inside upon pickup. A $100 check was issued for detailing but detailing costs $250+ and doesn’t cover it. I did appreciate after finding the all weather mats weren’t in the vehicle and some cheap dollar general ones were slapped in the trunk as replacements, that weather tech mats would be provided free of charge. This will sadly be my last purchase from carvana. Do better… More

Car had dents and scratches that weren’t in pictures; they only offered to fix one of them and at Maaco which is probably the worst quality body shop in the country. I’d rather pay to fix it properly. Car was way overpriced for what I ultimately got. Would never go to Carvana ever again. Please if you’re thinking “maybe it was just him” … find all the other bad reviews from a ton of other people online. Do yourself a favor and avoid Carvana. More
