I honestly don't know where to start. I've always been intrigued by the whole buying a car online. My wife was even more intrigued and loved the fact that we didn't have to go to a dealership. She went online found the car she wanted, applied for financing and had the car delivered right to our door. At first everything was great. We love the car! I decided to take some time and just check the car over being that we had seven days to exchange it for a different one and this is what we found: Drivers head light missing cap on back Windshield had a chip Both front facing cameras not working R/R rim didn't match. Painted with different color paint. Paint bubbling on hood and fender Ticking noise from blower area right front when car is shut off or when first getting into the car Water damage drivers side stow and go 2nd row drivers side seat frame very rusted Cover for stow and go moldy and rusty We were willing to live with all of that stuff except for the water damage because of how much we liked the car. The car was a 2020 with 34,000 miles and was still under manufacturer warranty. We had no choice but to return the car. When looking at replacement cars we couldn't find anything comparable with the same options close mileage and year for the same price. We wound up having to get a 2018 with 32,000 miles. Not only did the car have no manufacturer's warranty left but it also cost $4,000 more and we also had to pay $600 to have it shipped to us. When talking to carvana we tried to get them to wave that $600 based on the fact that we were returning a car because it wasn't check properly and they pretty much said too bad so sad. Fast forward now we've had the new car for about 2 weeks and it's at one of their recommended facilities because the front two tires are bold, it's got a noise from the rear and the sunroof doesn't work. The sunroof stopped working about 2 days ago, it looks like the sun shade is off track. They're replacing the tires and a wheel bearing and not doing anything with the sunroof. They're saying the sunroof is not a covered repair because it has to do with the headliner and it's not covered. I called carvana to see if there's anything that they can do about it and the lady on the phone pretty much before even calling silver Rock told me that they're just going to back up what silver Rock says. I explained to the lady at carvana that I'm spending $35,000 on a car and have had for 2 weeks, there is no reason why I should have to pay to get my sunroof working. Again too bad so sad! Had I bought this car from a dealership I guarantee you that I would not have to pay for anything that was wrong with it within the first 30 days. Could you imagine buying a minivan from Chrysler for $35,000 and the sunroof stopping working after 2 weeks and Chrysler telling you too bad so sad. To me it seems like if there's a problem carvana does not go above and beyond to rectify the problems that customers are having with their vehicles. I really wanted to like this process and I thought that it was the future of car buying. But unless carvana gets their act together and does a good job of checking these vehicles before they're sold to customers and then standing behind the cars that they sell to the customers I don't see how they're going to succeed. The auto business is a customer based business and there's only so many customers you can sell used cars to with problems before no one will buy from you anymore. Carvana, you need to do a better job of taking care of your customers! More
Horrible experience. They took there time to be able to have the original and second offer expire to drive the price down by asking for different photos and things. Which They took there time to be able to have the original and second offer expire to drive the price down by asking for different photos and things. Which it did by over $2500.00. I had to sell due to an illness my doctor wanted me to be in the hospital the day of my vehicle pick-up. I called Carvana and explained the situation and was told they could NOT change my date because you guessed it the offer expired yet again. Zero Stars. NEVER AGAIN! More

We paid cash for our vehicle and expected to have it delivered to our home, but the system told us our zip code didn't qualify for delivery so we needed to pick it up. Our car was "lost" during the shipping process and was delayed over a week which required me to take an additional day off. Seriously...I got email updates every step of the way from Arizona to Denver. Once the vehicle got to the Denver metro area, the updates suddenly stopped, which was followed by an email saying the delivery had been delayed. I had to call them for further details, not the other way around. The local office promptly blamed it on the third-party trucking company. On the way home from picking up our vehicle, I noticed a severe pulsation in the brake pedal and steering wheel while braking, which normally means warped rotors. The emissions indicator also illuminated just about the time we arrived home less than 30 mins after picking up the car!! I opened a case with SilverRock and took the car to their preferred servicer, which is a local Firestone Retailer. After driving the vehicle less than 30 total miles since picking it up from Carvana, they verified the front rotors were severely warped and got them fixed. They were unable to address the emission light and said I would need top take it to BMW. On the phone before picking up the vehicle, Firestone informed me that I am responsible for a $100 deductible for the repairs!?!? Taking the car to BMW will be an additional $350 deductible since they aren't "in-network" so I will end up fixing it myself. Their warranty is actually a huge joke. On a side note, we discovered our vehicle did not have a couple features that it was listed as having in their listing, such as the LED headlights. Before taking delivery of the car, we actually felt pretty good about our purchase and were actually thinking about trading in another of our vehicles for a truck. However, after going through all of this and having to pay out-of-pocket to get a new car repaired just to able drive it safely and STILL going through it getting the emissions repaired, I will probably never purchase a car at Carvana ever again. Delivery was scheduled but I was asked to come pick the car the day of delivery. Tires had to be filled up after the car came down because they were too short staffed to complete their checklists.
