The dealership is alright, however, I did experience a headache. I first purchased a Mercedes C250 Coup. I submitted everything that was requested by Carvana on my end and had a deadline to do so. I follo headache. I first purchased a Mercedes C250 Coup. I submitted everything that was requested by Carvana on my end and had a deadline to do so. I followed all procedure accordingly but the paperwork was never reviewed in time by Carvana so everything got delayed & then later changed. I called about three times to get this resolved as I needed the vehicle on that day as promised do to the holidays. I got in touch with a few employees that were new and explained what had happened he tried to go back into my account to see what he can do and made things even worse. He tried to see if there was an avail slot for delivery for that same day he told me sorry there is nothing they could do when this was an error on there end and also ended up restarting new my whole application changing all the numbers my offer went down my payment went up and I had already signed the original contract. I was so frustrated at this point I cancelled everything. The manager ended up calling me to try to make things right and he was able to fix the problem that acured with my contract and my trade in offer. Wanting to avoid going into the dealership in person I ended up sticking with Carvana and purchasing an Audi A6 instead and ditch out 1500 for shipping the car in which they do advise upfront. Granted, I had already paid in advance 1200 for shipping the first vehicle I cancelled (2015 Merc) which it was taken out of my account already on 5/24 I believe. I called again and asked them about my refund they told me it takes 7 to 10 business days. Today is 6/14 I am still waiting for my 1200 refund way pass the 7 to 10 days. I now have paid in total of about 2700 on both shipping. I am not happy at all extremely upset this is a lot of money it is not a couple of dollars. They originally ACH my account to take the money right away but somehow now I'm waiting for them to approve to release MY money and get this they are sending a check instead by mail causing more of a delay. I need this refund to go back into my account the same way it was taken out through ACH not a check. Overall, I personally did not have a good experience with Carvana it's a shame because this was my first time purchasing a vehicle. The next time I consider in buying I rather go to the dealership directly and deal with them. More
Being in the car business for 28 years, I was skeptical. I used to joke with our customers that they could buy from a “bubble gum machine or a real dealer. Well after hearing from a friend that bought fro I used to joke with our customers that they could buy from a “bubble gum machine or a real dealer. Well after hearing from a friend that bought from Carvanna how great his experience was I DID IT! Thought I would go straight to He!! For doing so. So surprised at how easy it was.!!! 10 minutes, paperwork done. Couple delays waiting for car, ok it happens. Now to delivery, i was excited! Super cool experience with advocate and vending machine, they really make it feel special. I paid probably over 8k market price because of only 13k miles on the vehicle. “And only 3 imperfections on vehicle!” Great pictures of them as well. So i think to myself, if they are so forthright disclosing such minor dings, this has to be a great car. Well……. Coming down the machine I was like a kid at Christmas, Exactly what I searched for across the country. Couldnt wait to jump in and drive home. Then i start to look. Vehicle had over 19k on odo. Was told “ well vehicles get driven around while for sale! Well in that 5k of driving it got mismatched tires. Repaint with bad tapes lines from windshield forward. Big scrapes on mirrors, wear marks on convertible top. 3 out of 4 wheels curbed with perfect blow up pictures on ad. ( again happened during 5k if mystery miles since listing online) Best was the buttons on climate control and nav unit that were perfect in pictures were completely obliterated and unreadable from what ever “ solvent” they used to clean it. I use the word clean loosely!!! Bugs and sap on car, wheels were filthy. Windshield filthy. Gallon of tire dressing was not helping. I felt terrible for the young man trying to deliver car for me. WHAT HAPPENED??? I even verified the vin since I thought it was wrong car it was so bad.🥴 Carbon trim falling off. I can only think to myself this is a “certified” 150point inspection Maserati??? What else did they NOT look at????🧐 I left completely dismayed and feeling glad I got out of this business. I would never even attempt to have a customer show up and “choke down” the multiple red flags. Read the employee reviews of company last night and they all matched exactly what I experienced with Carvanna here in Az!! Took my cash in 20 minutes via wire, now being told up to ten days to get back. Totally bummed from the whole experience. Beware!! I do feel bad leaving this review because I hated getting them at my dealerships I ran. But i can tell you we improved after that. I think it may be too late for this company. Too bad😫😫 More
I really wanted to like Carvana, but every step of the way has been multiple difficulties, wasted time, and money. I decided to try Carvana and between my husband and myself, we have spent well over 30 way has been multiple difficulties, wasted time, and money. I decided to try Carvana and between my husband and myself, we have spent well over 30 hours dealing with the various snafus and miscommunication (and that is a very generous estimate). Two weeks after the purchase, I am now dealing with Carvana trying to get the truck registered in a different state from mine. Save yourself the time, stress, and aggravation and go to your local dealership. At least you know what you are getting, and you will complete the purchase same day. The Good: Carvana does have a large variety of vehicles to choose from. The actual exchange of vehicles went surprisingly easy. The delivery person (Danny) was great to work with, and the process was fast. When you can get a hold of a customer service rep (not the call center) they are friendly and helpful. (Shout out to you Eric on 6/13/23) The Bad: First, we traded in a vehicle and paid cash on the remainder. We got an email that the car hold was expired and reposted for sale, when they immediately transferred money from our bank account the next business day! I had to make some calls and emails to get that fixed. The truck was delivered with bad breaks that should have never passed an inspection. I called a representative who assured me that this would fall under their 100 day/400mile warranty. Since I needed a vehicle (Carvana now had possession of mine), I decided to take it in for repairs to a (SilverRock warranty company) preferred auto repair shop (PepBoys). PepBoys inspected the truck and stated it needed front and rear break work. SilverRock stated it was to be covered under the Toyota warranty, but it wasn’t, because it was considered a wearable part. SilverRock then stated that they needed a letter from Toyota stating such, even though it is already written in the Toyota warranty. Toyota wouldn’t get on the phone with SilverRock unless the truck was at their dealership and the truck was partially dismantled at PepBoys. On a Friday, my husband and I spent the entire day making multiple calls to: Carvana, SilverRock, Toyota and Pep Boys. The entire day! We ended up just paying almost $1,000 out of pocket to get the xxxx truck which I needed to haul a trailer that weekend. I took the truck to the Toyota dealership the next week and had them get on the phone with SilverRock regarding the warranty issue. After submitting even more paperwork for reimbursement, I am now waiting for a check in the mail….pending final review of the claim. This morning, I woke to an email stating that I need to notarize a document (I already did this two weeks ago) in order to get the truck registered in PA…..I live in NM. So, once again I’m on the phone and the computer trying to get things fixed. So far I’ve been at this for two hours. I am exhausted with this entire process. More
My only initial concern was some repeat delays on delivery of the vehicle however customer service remained responsive to me throughout this process and offered a $200 rebate for my troubles which i delivery of the vehicle however customer service remained responsive to me throughout this process and offered a $200 rebate for my troubles which i appreciated greatly as an act of good faith. There were some minor issues with the vehicle which i had addressed at a nearby auto repair facility and Carvana's insurance lender Silver rock handled this without issue and approved the repairs at zero cost to me. Additionally, I forgot my payment for the vehicle when i arrived to pick it up and instead of leaving empty handed i was able to take the vehicle and was handed a free overnight envelope to mail the check the following day. Overall, Carvana and its employees had solutions to every hiccup that occurred along the way. Having the peace of mind that the vehicle does have some sort of warranty post-purchase was comforting for me and now i know i have a vehicle that is in great shape with hopefully many many miles to go before its next repair. Thank you for all your efforts. More
This process seemed to be easy at first but became far from that. First off, they told me my car was ready for pickup by sending me a confirmation email and when I went to pick it up it wasn’t there, I co from that. First off, they told me my car was ready for pickup by sending me a confirmation email and when I went to pick it up it wasn’t there, I contacted a Carvana specialist to see what the problem was and they gaslit me into saying I never received that email; after that situation they were helpful and walked me through the steps I didn’t complete (I didn’t complete them because I was going to bring the info needed in person since my pickup appointment was confirmed) the specialist said I was 100% completed and good to pick up my car for the new appointment date, my money was taken from my account four days before I received the car when they said it won’t be taken from my account until the car leaves the facility, then on my new pickup date they forced me to buy Carvana insurance for $163 and some change even though my payment was already taken, the specialist said I was good to go, and my old car insurance is active for 14 days on the new car; then I get in the car and there is less than 1/4 tank of gas; lastly, Carvana sold me the wrong car, the advertisement said it was a limited and upon further evaluation it is simply not, it’s the step down. This process was absolutely pitiful and a joke. More
My experience with carvana was perfect! The new way of buying cars! I would never go to a original dealership again. The process was to easy I was in and out in like 20 mins.
