We traded our car at the Carvana location in Atlanta GA, the service sucked, the people were rude, and when they pulled our car from the vending machine it had a screw in the tire they couldn’t do anything the service sucked, the people were rude, and when they pulled our car from the vending machine it had a screw in the tire they couldn’t do anything about and the hood was faded which was not in the pictures on the website. Knowing it was that big of a deal, we accepted the car anyways, had to plug the tire when we got home, and buff the hood. Our car we traded also had 6k less miles than we thought when we registered the trade in on the website, I was told it would be updated before we signed and it was not. More
People need to stop being fooled by Carvana and they need to have their dealer license pulled in colorado. My story starts February 9th, 2023. The day I was supposed to receive a car I financed to start a new chapter in my life after already having to file it as a chapter 7 bankruptcy. The vehicle was delayed until March 1st, 2023. All I was told by carvana was for tires issues. Well when it showed up, it had tire issues, and my nightmare began. It has cost me countless hours on the phone with SilverRock, Carvana and Red Rock Honda, and I'm still left with a literal ticking timebomb. The car is still needing work carvana refused to help with anything further leaving me with more repairs. It cost me my job, for not having reliable transportation, anxiety, tears and panic attacks. I have never regretted a decision more in my life and I worked for Uber ATG-Tempe and TuSimple! Starting miles as of 3/1/23: 87,543 Miles as of this review: 89,880... most of this was the 60 mile one way journey to the dealer for the multiple repairs. Repair list: Tire pressure sensor Brake pads Rotors x4 Alignment Oil pressure indicator check, was referred to dealer. Engine replaced with a used one... Rear main seal. STILL NEEDS: Timing belt and Hydraulic tensioner (but may not fix the valve noises heard on the new/used engine though) Air vent control module Bluetooth malfuctions Strange metallic vibration sound Rough idle and limited power Horrible unnatural gas mileage. My first experience with Carvana and better than I expected. The only area to improve in my experience was your system's assumption that I knew how to do all my tasks over a weekend when I couldn't talk to my insurance agent to get a new policy verification. May not have been an issue if I had purchased before a Friday evening, but your system kept cancelling my order because I didn't know how to get through the insurance hoop on Saturday or Sunday. A live person could have probably coached me through it with less frustration. More
My experience with Carvana while attempting to purchase a 2019 Honda Pilot was nothing short of a nightmare. I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with the deceptive practices I encountered during this process. First and foremost, the 2019 Honda Pilot they tried to sell me was riddled with problems. They delivered it on Friday, and upon inspection, it became apparent that the vehicle was leaking oil. We did not drive it after they dropped it off until I took it to Firestone (a preferred mechanic in the warranty network). The mechanic there said it was the oil pan plug not being replaced properly. The Honda kept slightly jerking into gear, and by Tuesday evening, the Emissions problem - check engine warning light had come on. I took it to Advance Auto Parts and the code was for oxygen sensor issues. It is absolutely unacceptable for a company that prides itself on selling "quality" used cars to offer a vehicle in such a dire condition. It was clear that they had not conducted proper inspections or taken the necessary measures to ensure the car's functionality. On Wednesday morning I took it to another preferred mechanic. Who diagnosed the problem and began the warranty claim process. The warranty company, Silver Rock, was only willing to fix the two oxygen sensors because they were reading as having problems. The mechanic recommended replacing all four. He finished and sent me on my way just before lunchtime. I had only driven a few miles when the Emissions Problem/Check Engine light came on again. I returned to the mechanic, and he knew exactly why I was there. I spent the day at his shop. He test drove after the repairs were made and came back to me admitting that the transmission was going bad and would need to be replaced. Carvana extended my 7-day return window by two extra days. With these problems in the first week, we decided it would be next to return the 2019 Honda Pilot. I have no idea how this vehicle passed Carvana's inspection process. Their return and refund policy turned out to be the only smooth endeavor. Even the fact that I discovered these major issues within the initial few days of purchase, they made the return process easy. They did want me to initially swap out the vehicle, but after having to pay the $199 delivery fee. Evidently, their "7-day money-back guarantee" is nothing more than a facade to lure unsuspecting customers into a trap. Thankfully we were able to diagnose problems before the time expired. Dealing with Carvana has greatly wasted my time, money, and energy. I had high hopes for a convenient and reliable car-buying experience, but instead, I ended up with a lemon and a lot of frustration. I would strongly advise potential buyers to steer clear of Carvana and consider more reputable dealerships with transparent practices and genuine concern for their customers. In summary, my encounter with Carvana has been a dreadful ordeal. Their lack of integrity, poor customer service, and attempt to sell me a faulty vehicle make it evident that they prioritize profit over their customers' well-being. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Carvana at all costs. More
This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Carvana. I personally despise the whole "dealer let me go talk to my sales manager" xx that you always get at the dealership. The selection of ve Carvana. I personally despise the whole "dealer let me go talk to my sales manager" xx that you always get at the dealership. The selection of vehicles could not be better, the pricing, while not a "bargain" price, is very fair and consistent with the actual value of the vehicles. Super easy process. Highly recommend.....and will most likely shop here again in the future. And Keona Nesbit (the rep we dealt with in Lexington, SC) was an 11 on a scale of 1-10!!! This young lady deserves recognition from Carvana for her knowledge, personality, professionalism and ease to work with. More
