Dear god RUN! Run far away! I read all of the awful horror stories online about delivery reschedules and abysmal customer service and thought they had to be isolated incidents. I read all of the generi horror stories online about delivery reschedules and abysmal customer service and thought they had to be isolated incidents. I read all of the generic Carvana responses of, “Thank you for your review. We strive for great customer service and are sorry you felt you had issues, etc. etc.” I should have known then…but Nope. So much nope. I ordered a 2 year old really nice SUV from Carvana. Received approval, submitted all my documents. Good to go. Credit where credit is due, that part was insanely easy….but do not be fooled! (Oh and The one annoying part is they make you add the new vehicle to your insurance prior to actually receiving it. So be prepared for that. I don’t know how that’s actually legal but meh.) Anyway, they schedule the delivery date 9 days after I received approval and I submitted that day as a PTO day at work. Less than 24 hours before the delivery date and with MULTIPLE emails from Carvana of, “Are you excited for your new vehicle!? It’s on time and you’ll have it tomorrow!” I receive a text stating there is a delivery delay and my car is delayed. Mmmmk. Nothing else. I then get another text telling me it’s rescheduled for a week later! And that I must go back in the app to resign all of the contracts with the new delivery date. I call Carvana. The rep is reading off a script, “I’m trying to be transparent with you and I understand your frustration. The truck hauling your car had transportation issues. I’ve elevated your account and flagged it for priority for the next available time slot. You have a great shot at getting an earlier delivery.” I hang up irritated but resigned that it will only be another week…and another week of this suv being on my car insurance. And I can hopefully reschedule my PTO day. Twenty minutes later I get another text. My car has a New delivery date and I need to resign the contracts with the new delivery date. It’s a day later than the new delivery date. Okkkk…then five minutes later another text with a new delivery date and then fifteen minutes later a new delivery date. Four different dates within an hour. Noooooppppe!!! I called Carvana again and this rep again gave me the exact same script of prioritizing my car for the first available delivery. When I began getting frustrated he actually laughed at me. Laughed! Welp, I hung up on him. And the next morning walked myself into a dealership and bought the EXACT SAME SUV with almost identical mileage for a bit less money. Took me 2 hours total and I walked out with the keys. I was smiling when I went to the Carvana app and clicked the ol “Cancel order” button. What I found hilarious is they send you nine million emails and texts about everything but didn’t even send me a cancellation email. Nothing. Just an “Order Cancelled” screen popped up in the app which of course I screenshot. Thankfully I didn’t give these scammers one dollar as I was going to trade in my suv. So it was super easy for me to cancel. The only money I’m out is 9 days of insurance on the stupid Carvana car that I never received. I will tell you that I’ve purchased several cars. Yes, it’s not super fun. THIS was the most stressful and frustrating experience. Do not use them. You will regret it. More
The first car chosen was continually pushed back. Choose a different car, it also was pushed back.. I just had to replace a new battery and thermostat… after your warranty expired. Ok I was one of those skeptical people.. this is too easy, too simple, customer service was attentive during the application process. I couldn’t believe it. My 7 day trial ended today, and I am so im easy, too simple, customer service was attentive during the application process. I couldn’t believe it. My 7 day trial ended today, and I am so impressed. Every time I call customer service I speak with someone who is fluent in their work and if they’re unsure, they have a contact. I bought my car in one state but had it delivered in another, no issues. I am so impressed. As far as the car, I’m loving it. I’m a huge corolla fan, and I got a 2010, 5spd with 50,000 miles. Clean car, well maintained. Only thing I wish I had noticed before today(last day of trial) is a slight dip in the hood. Nothing serious though. Overall 5/5, really happy and will recommend to friends and family. Thanks Carvana :) More

Carvana set up and cancelled delivery 3 times so far with only hours notice. I’ve taken time off work 3 times now and still have no vehicle. Can’t get ahold of customer service and have asked fir a manager t only hours notice. I’ve taken time off work 3 times now and still have no vehicle.
