My electric car was delivered over 1hour 30mins late and came without the electric charger that was pictured in the post online. After asking the driver about the charger I was told they would submit a warr came without the electric charger that was pictured in the post online. After asking the driver about the charger I was told they would submit a warranty exception and I would be shipped the charger. Immediately I sensed something was off and decided to call Carvana and verify the details. As I suspected that information was not correct because after a trip to a nissan dealership and a carvana approved repair facility that there was no real process to replace an electric charger for my nissan leaf. Ultimately I was told I would have to spend more of my own money and be reimbursed in 45-60 business days. I purchased a fully electric car. Not having the at home charger that is supposed to be with the vehicle is completely unacceptable. How am I supposed to take full advantage of the 7 Day return policy when I don’t have the tools to determine if it’s goin to work for me. I had to make several calls to Carvana and was given different information almost every time. I saw a commercial on TV that said “Carvana will drive you happy.” Based on my experience it is clear that is all marketing to trick people you not thinking Carvana cares about the customer. If i purchased this vehicle from a dealer I would have gotten all the tools I needed on the spot. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with this company and will go out of my way to ensure people know that you lie to customers. Electric Cars should come with the charger. Especially if that charger is advertised in the post online. what good is an 150 point inspection if that inspection misses that a major component is missing from the vehicle. The vehicle delivery agent told me I could “put some gas in it” while I waited for the charger that eventually I would learn would never come. I purchased a car that I could not drive for days because it was delivered to me without a charger. I know no one cares because this situation still has not been resolved. Carvana needs to work on a smoother process to ensure electric cars are delivered with the chargers as advertised. More
